Settling the dispute isn’t as simple as it might seem, as there are a lot of twists, and it consists of some hard choices. It even has a secret ending that you might not be able to figure out easily. So we will guide you on how to get the best possible outcome.

How To Start Miri Fajta Quest

Nomads' Camp location on the map.

In order to start one of the best early-game quests, you will need to go to the Nomads’ camp, located west of the Trosky region near the lake. Once you are at the location, find Voivode, and he will tell you about a girl named Marika.

She is his daughter and is missing, so you will be tasked with finding her. You can talk to Marika’s mother, Aranka, too. Exhaust all dialogue options to increase your scholarship skill level. After that, search Marika’s tent.

You don’t have to lockpick the chest with hard difficulty; just pick up the scarf in front of it, and the objective will be completed.

How To Find Marika

Once you have picked up the scarf, follow the coordinates on your map and talk to Bozhena. She will tell you about the location where Marika is likely to be. So, again, head over to the coordinates on your map.

Just a little to the southwest of the A quest mark, you can find a trail of blood. Ahead, you will notice a giant rock with blood; take a left, then a right, and on your left will be a cave. Marika can be found in that cave, so talk to her.

She will ask you to get her dad’s Amulet and some supplies for Bohush. To get the Amulet and the supplies, go back to the camp. For the supplies, talk to Aranka, and then find Voivode for the Amulet.

He will instead ask you to rescue Tibor, his son, whom some villagers have captured, and to give his other son a proper funeral. This is his condition for the Amulet.

How To Rescue Tibor

This is a pretty hard part of the quest, as it can ruin your reputation in the village Tibor is being kept in. Head over to the search radius, and be stealthy, some areas are considered private. Tibor is being held at the house next to the barn in the southwest part of the search radius.

To find Tibor, head inside the village and take a right. The place you are looking for is right in front of you, but you can’t freely enter it. There is a hired hand you can talk to. Upon talking to him, you will have two skill checks: persuasion and intimidation. The former is the better option.

If you don’t have enough points in either of the skills, then there is an even better way to free Tibor. Go around the hut, and you will notice a window. Climb the window, untie Tibor, and follow him. Once you have covered a certain distance, talk to him, and he will tell you about his dead brother.

How To Bury Gejza

Henry standing in front of Gejza, who is dead and tied to a tree.

Tibor will tell you where Gejza’s body is, so follow the coordinates on your map. Once there, you can talk to the woodcutter, and he will direct you to the foreman. He will be right ahead, likely chopping some wood. You will be given more skill checks here: persuasion and intimidation.

Upon succeeding in the skill check, he will ask you to take Gejza’s body away. However, if you fail, you will have to consider the stealth approach. Find the body that is tied to a tree on the northwest side.

When the woodcutters aren’t looking, untie the body and carry it to the next coordinates marked on your map. Once you are there, put his body in the grave, and a cutscene will commence. After the cutscene is over, talk to Voivode again about the amulet, but even after all the work you have done for him, he won’t give it to you.

Instead, he will ask you to bring the letter given to him by King Sigismund. Marika has the letter.

Before going over her location, it is better you find the remaining supplies for Bohush.

How To Find Supplies For Bohush

Comfrey's location on the map.

If you have already talked to Aranka about it, she will give you most of the things. However, you may still want some Comfrey. You can either buy it from the Herbalist Barnaby or get it yourself. If you want to get Comfrey yourself, you will need to go to Zhelejov.

Fast travel to the area and go to the west. Make your way across the pond and travel on the road to your west. After traveling for a little while, you will notice Comfrey on the ground, so pick it up. You can check the image above for the exact location.

Where To Find Voivode’s Letter

Voivode's letter location on the map.

Now that you have supplies, go back to Marika. Give her the supplies, and then tell her about the deal. Promise her that you will only give Voivode the letter if he exchanges it for the amulet, and she will tell you the location.

Now, head over to the coordinates marked on your map. The letter is inside a tree that is located on the west side of the P quest marker. Once you are there, interact with the tree and get the letter from inside. Take that letter to Voivode and tell him about the deal you made with Marika.

After finding the letter, you can give it to Voivode and ignore Marika to end the quest instantly.

He will straight up refuse to give the amulet. While you can steal the amulet from him while he is sleeping, that won’t be the best outcome. So, in order to get the best ending, talk to Tibor. He will tell you Voivode loves to bet.

How To Get The Best Ending

In-game cutscene featuring Henry and Tibor riding horses.

After you are done talking, go back to Voivode, and you will have an additional dialogue. Choose that option, and he will agree to the wager. If you win the horse race, there will be another bet, but if you lose, there will be a total of three different bets.

Unless you have a ridiculously fast horse in the early game, you won’t win the race. It is just impossible.

If you have won, the next bet will be defeating Tibor in a fistfight. It will be a very weird fight. Tibor apparently has the ability to land a series of punches that shouldn’t be possible in this game. That can deplete a lot of your health, so the key to defeating him is patience.

Do not rush; focus on his attacks, and perform perfect blocks, parries, and ripostes. After landing a hit, make sure to be as aggressive as possible. Follow this strategy to defeat him, and Voivode will give Marika the amulet in person.

However, if you lose the first round and win the second one, there will be a third one. You will have to defeat Voivode himself in a dice match. Do not engage in the match as you can’t win; it is pretty funny how lucky he is; we even lost to him in just one round; how is that even possible?

In order to win, talk to Aranka before starting the match, and she will give you a magical dice that will help you turn the tide of the match. So, after winning, Voivode will give the amulet to Marika and will welcome her back into the camp.
