In Roblox‘s Fisch, Challenger’s Deep is home to nine chilly fish, but none stand out quite like the Cryoskin. This little cyan ice block of a creature might have a common rarity, but catching it is anything but easy.
Like other Mariana’s Veil bestiaries, some low-rarity fish take too long to bite, and the Cryoskin is no exception. You’ll need this fish for one of the Submarine Ice Upgrade podiums, along with other resources, to complete this small quest. As such, here’s how to find and catch Cryoskin in Fisch.

How To Find The Cryoskin In Fisch
Cryoskin can be found in the Ice Fishing Pond of Challenger’s Deep in Fisch. Since it’s the same pond where all other bestiary creatures are caught, figuring out its exact fishing spot is the real challenge.
Getting this fish is completely random; however, like Inferno Hide, there’s a spot where the chances seem higher than others. To get to this special spot, make your way to Challenger’s Deep Fishing Pond. Once you’re at the entrance, move left—the wall will block your path, so use the Advanced Glider to hop over to the other side to the north to get there.
You need to equip the Winter’s Cloak here, especially since you won’t have the Glimmerfin Suit Level 2 yet. This is necessary, as the freezing temperatures can be brutal, and catching a Cryoskin might take some time.
How To Get The Cryoskin In Fisch
To get the Cryoskin in Fisch, use Garbage Bait and cast your line in the Ice Fishing Pond of Challenger’s Deep. The aforementioned area has a higher chance of attracting Cryoskin, so try fishing there first. Also, Garbage Bait is the most common type with low universal luck, making it perfect for snagging low-rarity fish (just like Cryoskin). It can be easily obtained in large amounts from Bait Crates, which you can catch while fishing anywhere in the game. You might already have plenty, but if not, you can purchase some for 120 in-game cash in Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Forsaken Shores, and other islands.
Next, combine this bait with a rod that has high lure speed, decent resilience, and low luck. More lure speed reduces shake time, resilience helps you catch fish more easily, and low luck ensures that only less valuable fish will bite. Some good rod options for Cryoskin hunting include the Tempest Rod, No-Life Rod, and Challenger’s Rod. Having a Hasty enchantment on one of these will make the process even smoother.
Cryoskin has a -20 Progress Speed and is one of only two bestiary-exclusive fish with that stat. It’s a common creature, while the other (Polar Prowler) is legendary, and you’ll need both for the Ice Upgrade. Once Cryoskin bites, you’ll see a red exclamation mark and the progress speed, making it easier to spot.
