Avowed takes you on an adventure across the Living Lands, one that’s suffering from a mysterious plague and political tensions to boot. As the Envoy to the Aedyran Emperor and a godlike, you have your work cut out for you as the problem seems far more complex than previously assumed.

But as the godlike of the imprisoned god of the Living Lands, there are a string of cool abilities that only you can wield. However, based on the decisions you make, you can only unlock certain abilities in your playthrough. As such, we’re giving you a comprehensive rundown of all the godlike abilities and how you gain access to them.
13
Divine Thorn
Status: Passive
The Divine Thorn is the first godlike ability in the game and is one that you automatically have in your arsenal without needing to complete a quest. In essence, it is a stealth ability that only activates when your godlike remains hidden while sneaking up on an enemy.
Once activated, a spectral blade will form on the godlike’s hand to backstab an unsuspecting enemy. This ability will usually guarantee a one-shot kill on weaker enemies or those of the same skill level as you, while it will only inflict heavy damage on stronger opponents.
12
Dream Touch
Status: Active
The Dream Touch ability is the second ability you’re guaranteed to gain access to and is unlocked upon completing the main quest, Message from Afar.
For the cost of 25 Essence, this ability allows you to heal yourself and your companions and even cause gradual, sustained damage to certain enemy types such as delmegans, dreamthralls, and vessels (aka the reanimated skeletons). The ability is also very handy for reviving downed allies during a difficult fight and is ideal for a last-resort-type situation.
11
Godlike’s Will
Status: Passive
You might think that you don’t earn anything if you reject Sapadal’s offers of power, but that’s not true at all. If you choose to reject Sapadal’s offer throughout the main questline – or if you reject her offer during the Message from Afar quest – then you’ll get the Godlike’s Will ability.
The Godlike’s Will ability grants you one skill point to spend in any of your chosen skill trees. Although an extra skill point doesn’t hurt, the Dream Touch ability is more useful to have in the long run.
10
Remembrance Of Kishamal
Status: Passive
For this godlike ability, you will need to complete the side quest, The Call of the Past, in the Dawnshore biome.
After tapping into the Ancient Memory in the godless ruins southeast of the Shrine to Woedica and going through the cutscene sequence, you’ll be granted the Remembrance of Kishamal. A passive ability, the Remembrance of Kishamal simply extends your health bar by 10%.
9
Remembrance Of Enhekala
Status: Passive
Found in the Emerald Stair biome, the Remembrance of Enhekala can be found at the top of the Ranger’s Outpost. Similar to the previous entry, you’ll have a conversation with Sapadal and go through a series of ancient memories before being given the Remembrance of Enhekala.
In short, this passive ability extends your mana bar by 10%.
8
Remembrance Of Nimanna
Status: Passive
A godlike ability found in the Shatterscarp biome, you can find this ability at the top of the Twin Offerings Overlook. However, you will have to complete a bounty and fight off Xaurip Chieftain Grithin and his army of lackeys before you can proceed.
Once again, you’ll go through a string of ancient memories and receive the Remembrance of Nimanna at the end of it. This ability increases your stamina bar by 10%.
7
Remembrance Of Maru
Status: Passive
Found in the Galawain’s Tusks biome, the Remembrance of Maru can be found near the area where the side quest, Boundaries of Antiquity, is. There’s the danger of toxic water that’ll damage you until you complete the aforementioned side quest, but once you do, you’ll be able to reach the location of the Ancient Memory and get this ability.
This passive ability allows you to boost your attack damage by 10%.
6
Scion Of The Immortal Land
Status: Active
By the end of the main questline in Shatterscarp, you’ll be presented with two difficult choices presented by Archmage Ryngrim and Inquisitor Lödwyn. If you choose to go along with Lödwyn’s plan to burn down the ruins of Naku Kubel, then you’ll be gifted the Scion of the Immortal Land.
Costing 30 Essence, this ability allows you to speed up your health recovery and increase your damage power for a total of 12 seconds.
5
Severed Branch
Status: Active
On the flip side, if you choose to go with Ryngrim’s plan of severing the Adra network and accept Sapadal’s offer of power instead of going along with Lödwyn’s plan, then you’ll be given the Severed Branch upon completion.
In short, this ability increases your movement speed by 20 seconds for 30 Essence.
4
Thorn Of Sapadal
Status: Active
During the main quest, Ancient Soil, the godlike explores the underground ruins of Naku Tedek. Upon encountering an Adra Pillar, the godlike will be gifted the Thorn of Sapadal ability by accepting yet another offer of power from Sapadal.
Costing 30 Essence, this ability allows the godlike to charge up a spectral blade on their dominant hand before shooting a supercharged projectile that can affect multiple enemies, temporarily paralysing them on the spot.
3
Seeds Of Vengeance
Status: Active
Seeds of Vengeance is an upgrade of the Dream Touch ability and is gained upon accepting Sapadal’s offer at Mount Forja in the quest, Our Dreams Divide Us Still. The ability looks similar to how the Dream Touch ability appears upon activation, but they’ve upped the ante with the Seeds of Vengeance.
Although this ability still does the same thing by healing and resurrecting downed allies, as well as dealing damage to certain species. However, the Seeds of Vengeance also grant you the power to turn a maximum of three hostile Vessels into allies.
2
Woedica’s Call
Status: Active
The godlike’s entire journey ultimately boils down to whether they will decide to free Sapadal or destroy her based on what they believe is good for the Living Lands. If you think that freeing Sapadal causes more harm than good and decide to destroy her, the goddess Woedica will show you her gratitude by gifting you Woedica’s Call.

This ability will allow you to summon a maegfolc as an ally, and we all know how tedious and difficult it is to defeat a maegfolc. So, if you have the stomach to annihilate Sapadal, then Woedica’s Call is an ability worth having.
1
Sapadal’s Fury
Status: Active
If you sympathise with Sapadal and choose to free her at the end of the main quest, The Heart of the Living Lands, then you’ll receive Sapadal’s Fury. The coolest godlike ability in the game is that the godlike can lift multiple enemies into the air before slamming them down in a one-shot kill.
Naturally, this overpowered ability is going to be quite costly to cast, draining 100 Essence from your mana bar. But this ability is handy when you want to get to the objective quickly and can’t be bothered to fight a group of enemies.
