Emerald Stair is the second major region players will enter during the Animancy Method main quest in Avowed. While the quest is long enough, it’ll have an objective where you’ll need to enter the Delemgan Glade and retrieve an Adragan Heart from the queen. Although the objective feels simple enough, there are hoards of enemies in the glade that you’ll have to fight through to get the heart. How to Get the Adragan Heart without Fighting Delemgan Queen in Avowed

During the Animancy Method main quest of Avowed, players will need to fight a hoard of sporeling enemies and then a powerful Delemgan queen in the end to retrieve the Adragan Heart. Considering it’s still pretty early in the game, most of the players won’t have the gear powerful enough to survive the clash with these enemies.

As Avowed allows players to proceed with a mission as they see fit, it also applies to this mission. If you don’t kill a single sporeling enemy while approaching the Delemgan queen’s domain, she’ll give you the heart without fighting. But the problem is, there’s only enough distance you can cover while the enemy attacks chip away at your health.

Best way to Retrieve the Adragan Heart

There’s a skill in the ranger section called “Shadowing Beyond,” which allows you to become invisible. The duration of the invisibility depends on your Essence bar. Once the Essence bar depletes, the ability will wear off.

So, stock up on as many essence portions and food items as you can get before heading into the Delemgan Glade. Once you have enough, fast travel to the nearest beacon there. Keep heading into the Glade until you spot enemies from afar. Activate the Shadowing Beyond ability and sprint past the enemies, as they won’t hear you.

Quickly make your way through the Delemgan Glade and into the domain of the Delemgan Queen. Speak to her, and the conversation will go smoothly, as she’ll grant you the Adragan Heart without any fighting. The best part about this method is that the enemies in the Delemgan Glade will become friendly, and won’t attack you anymore, even if you visit the area afterward in Avowed.
