Survival-horror game Post Trauma is officially releasing on Monday, March 31 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, making that day a particularly exciting one for fans of the genre. Post Trauma was first announced all the way back in 2021. The game, inspired by classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill titles, was once expected to release in the spring of 2024. Unfortunately, the Post Trauma release date was pushed back to October of that year, only for the game to get delayed again to 2025. On paper, Post Trauma sounds like just the kind of game that will appeal to survival-horror fans that grew up playing the original Resident Evil and Silent Hill games on PS1.

When Post Trauma launches on March 31, it will be one of the first major new survival-horror game releases of the year. Killing Floor 3 is beating it to the punch by a week, launching on March 25, but that game is much more action-horror, whereas Post Trauma has more old-school vibes. Console gamers will also want to check out Sorry We’re Closed on March 6. Sorry We’re Closed made a splash on PC last year, but is making its way to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles on March 6. Between the three games, it’s clear that March 2025 is going to be an exciting month for horror games.
