Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact is an end-game content where players get to test the many characters they have painstakingly built over the years of playthroughs. Unlike the Spiral Abyss which focuses only on two teams, the Imaginarium Theater demands Travelers to have a large line-up of nicely built units in order to succeed.
Other than optimal building, it’s also crucial to understand how to make a team comp in Genshin Impact and how to properly utilize the monthly buff. For that, this guide will assist Travelers in finding out the important points about the Imaginarium Theater of March 2025 stage in Genshin Impact.

Opening Characters In Imaginarium Theater – Genshin Impact 5.4 (March 2025)
March 2025 Imaginarium Theater has the following opening characters:
- Ayato: Ayato has great Hydro AoE on his Elemental Burst, and he’s very reliable as a DMG dealer.
- Barbara: A strong healer, but can’t really do anything else.
- Raiden Shogun: One of the best characters in Genshin Impact. The Electro Archon is a strong Sub-DPS and can give her team so much energy.
- Ororon: Ororon is a good Electro enabler who barely consumes field time.
- Eula: Has the highest Physical DPS, not that there’s competition in that role. Eula can definitely deliver, but she needs a high investment to do so.
- Layla: A good shielder and very F2P friendly. Layla also has some Cryo applications, which is better than nothing.

Hydro Characters
- Furina: Furina is a strong buffer with a satisfying DPS who barely takes any field time.
- Neuvillette: Neuvillette can delete enemies no matter what his team is. So, always depends on him. If you pick him, try to save the good characters and get rid of the useless ones.
- Yelan: Yelan is a strong off-field Sub-DPS in Genshin Impact. She shines when you team her with Cryo and Electro units that depend on their Normal attacks.
- Kokomi: Kokomi is always useful, especially because of her DPS phase, where she heals the entire team while dealing massive DMG.
- Xingqiu: Just like Yelan, Xingqiu needs to be paired with characters that deal DMG through their Normal attacks.
- Mona: Mona’s value also drops in this Imaginarium Theater since her buff can mostly benefit Pyro units in Genshin Impact. However, she can still be helpful, especially if she has her first Constellation.
- Tartaglia: Childe shines in Electro-charged reaction and this month’s Imaginarium Theater is the best place to showcase his talent.
- Sigewinne: Sigewinne is an amazing healer with minimal support for her team.
- Candace: Can’t really do anything useful. She can infuse her team’s attacks with Hydro and can slightly buff their Normal attack DMG.
- Mualani: Mualani can’t shine in this Imaginarium Theater format unless you team her with Thoma. And still, she won’t be able to completely showcase her strength.
- Nilou: Unfortunately, Nilou can’t perform in this month’s Imaginarium Theater as well, since there are no Dendro units to maximize her utility. It’s better to use Nilou in her DPS build or just avoid selecting her.
Electro Characters
- Clorinde: Since Clorinde is an impressive Electro enabler, she can work with any off-field Sub-DPS in this Imaginarium Theater, such as characters like Xingqiu and Yelan.
- Yae Miko: Yae Miko can also perform well in this Imaginarium Theater rotation since her teams will trigger Superconduct and Electro-charged. These are reactions that scale with Elemental Mastery, which is what Yae Miko also needs.
- Fischl: Building and teaming Fischl is very F2P friendly. Therefore, she’s one of the most reliable characters to use in this and any other Imaginarium Theater.
- Sara: Since March’s Imaginarium Theater features a lot of Electro characters, Sara’s value skyrockets because of her ability to buff Electro units’ ATK and Crit DMG.
- Cyno: Cyno is a strong Electro enabler like Clorinde, but he’s too selfish. You need to team him with characters that can keep their abilities throughout his Elemental Burst period.
- Kuki: Although Kuki works best in Hyperbloom teams in Genshin Impact, she’s still useful because of her Elemental Skill’s ring that will spread Electro and help the team trigger Electro-charged or Superconduct.
- Sethos: Sethos is a decent 4-star Electro DPS. He heavily relies on Elemental Mastery to deal DMG, and that makes him perfect for this month’s Imaginarium Theater.
- Beidou: Beidou’s mechanics make her a strong off-field Sub-DPS who can deal tons of DMG, especially in her classic Firework team with Tartaglia. However, Beidou isn’t ideal for this month’s Imaginarium Theater because of the lack of crowd control.
- Lisa: Both Electro-charged and Superconduct need Elemental Mastery, and that’s Lisa’s specialty. She can reduce enemies’ DEF while triggering these Elemental Reactions.
- Razor: Razor is a reliable Physical and Electro DPS that can spread Electro while dealing massive Physical DMG. However, just like Cyno, Razor needs teammates who can match the timer of his Elemental Burst.
- Dori: Dori is a mediocre healer with the potential to operate as a battery in Genshin Impact.
- Keqing: Just like Clorinde, Keqing is a strong Electro enabler while operating as a main DPS. However, her DMG is underwhelming and definitely not on par with Clorinde.

Cryo Characters
- Citlali: Citlali is the best Cryo Support in Genshin Impact right now. Her ability to apply large amounts of Cryo while she’s not even on the field is just amazing.
- Shenhe: Since there will be a lot of Cryo DPS units in this version of Imaginarium Theater, Shenhe is an amazing Cryo buffer who will fit into any team that has a Cryo DPS in Genshin Impact.
- Wriothesley: Wriothesley is one of the strongest and most consistent Cryo units in Genshin Impact. As a Catalyst user, he can constantly operate as a Cryo enabler while dealing a ton of DMG.
- Ayaka: Ayaka’s Normal and Charged attacks are good, but her Elemental Burst can delete enemies. Unfortunately, there are no Anemo units to boost her DMG, so her DPS will witness a noticeable drop. Still, she can operate in her favorite freeze teams in Genshin Impact.
- Rosaria: Rosaria is a great battery with an acceptable Crit Rate buff to grant her team. She can also lower enemies’ resistance to Cryo at her C6, which makes her decent in most teams.
- Ganyu: Ganyu can offer a lot to her team in terms of DPS and Cryo enabling. Her Charged attacks are strong, and her Elemental Burst spreads Cryo for a long duration, which is ideal for some characters like Mizuki, who likes to fly around all this Cryo.
- Diona: Diona is a reliable Support in Genshin Impact. She can shield her team while healing them, or even buff their Elemental Mastery on her C6.
- Qiqi: Qiqi is one of the best healers in Genshin Impact. She also allows her team to be aggressive because of her Fortune-Preserving Talisman effect.
- Chongyun: Chongyun can operate as a Sub-DPS who barely takes any field time while infusing other characters’ Normal attacks with Cryo. Be careful though, you don’t want to pair him with characters like Keqing, who will suffer with him.
- Kaeya: Kaeya’s kit is very outdated and can barely deal DMG. His Cryo enabling is not that impressive either. He can work with characters like Razor who likes close combat with enemies. But other than that, he’s not really useful.
- Mika: Mika is a mediocre Support who specializes in buffing Physical DMG characters in Genshin Impact.
- Charlotte: Charlotte is an acceptable healer and Cryo enabler.
- Freminet: Freminet is a Physical main DPS who deals acceptable damage for 4-star standard.
- Aloy: Not worth using.
Special Guest Stars
Imaginarium Theater Guest Stars aren’t restricted to the monthly Elements, allowing players to expand their team comp possibilities. Here are the Special Guest Stars for March 2025 Imaginarium Theater:
- Navia: In this Cryo, Electro, Hydro heaven, Navia will definitely enjoy mixing her Geo and creating tons of Crystallize reactions.
- Thoma: Some Cryo and Hydro units desperately need a Pyro enabler like Thoma to perform better. Sadly, there’s only one Thoma, so use him wisely.
- Mizuki: When she’s on the field, Mizuki is an excellent Anemo enabler who can spread the Cryo, Electro, and Hydro elements while shredding enemies’ resistance to them.
- Xinyan: Xinyan is a Pyro shielder who deals mostly Physical DMG. It’s better to avoid her unless one of your characters wants some minimal Pyro application.
Imaginarium Theater Teams In Genshin Impact 5.4 (March 2025)
In this version of the Imaginarium Theater, the buffs are focused on the Electro, Hydro, and Cryo reactions, which are Superconduct, Electro-charged, and Frozen. While the blessings of Frozen and Electro-charged directly buff the reactions of the elements involved, Superconduct mostly focuses on buffing Physical DMG. However, you can still level up the Superconduct blessing to get some slight resistance shredding when the Superconduct reaction occurs.
