Infinity Nikki‘s Eerie Season brings with it not only the alluring mystery of Queen Philomia but also an exciting variety of new activities and quests for players to take part in. Many of those quests can lead to valuable rewards that you can then put toward endeavors like the Lingering Finale Resonance Banner.

One of the quests in Infinity Nikki that can slip by like one of Philomia’s ghosts is The Whispering Bench, and to complete it you will actually need to interact with some of those ghosts yourself.

How to Unlock The Whispering Bench Quest in Infinity Nikki

Like other quests in Infinity Nikki‘s Eerie Season, this one does have a pre-requisite for unlocking it. You must complete the Photo Investigation: Midnight Stories quest first, which is part of the ‘Eerie Encounters’ category in the ‘Tales of Mystery’ tab in the Events menu.

Fortunately, it’s a brief quest that has you make a pit stop at the Heartcraft Kingdom Outpost at the southernmost point in Breezy Meadow, directly behind the Queen’s Palace Ruins. Use the respective Warp Spire to get there quickly.

How to Complete The Whispering Bench Quest in Infinity Nikki

The Whispering Bench quest is part of the Eerie Season’s ‘Tales of Mystery’ event questline, which you can find in your Events menu. Of the two categories of quests found in that tab, select ‘Eerie Encounters’ and The Whispering Bench is the last option on the list.

Be aware that you must first complete the previous two quests on the list (‘Strange Hissing Streetlamp‘ and ‘Photo Investigation: Midnight Stories’) to access this one.

After completing Photo Investigation: Midnight Stories with Divinso at the Heartcraft Kingdom Outpost, he will mention a rumor about the benches that surround the violin statue at the castle’s entrance. This automatically unlocks The Whispering Bench quest, and you can track its starting point on your map via the ‘Eerie Encounters’ menu (as seen above).

Travel to the entrance area of the Queen’s Palace Ruins (use the Queen’s Palace Ruins Entrance Warp Spire) and follow the main path until you reach the large statue of the violin that is swirling with a strange energy. Now you need to wait until nightfall (22:00-4:00), which you can hurry to via your Run, Pear-Pal feature.

Once it’s the correct time, sit on one of the stone benches near the statue to trigger a cutscene. The Ghost Sentinel makes its next appearance and at one point tells Nikki that it requires 1 x Celebcrow Feather for Sir Percy’s celebration. If you have some feathers on hand, you can immediately give one to the Ghost Sentinel. Otherwise, you will need to gather one from a Celebcrow, which, as its name suggests, is a crow-type bird whose feathers resemble a tuxedo.

As luck would have it, you can find at least two Celebcrows right near the statue. You may have scared them off without realizing while doing the quest’s earlier objectives, as they are very skittish birds. Leave the area for a minute and the Celebcrows should return. Next, equip your grooming ability outfit and approach them from a safe distance. You only need to groom one for the Celebcrow Feather you need.

After that’s done, bring the feather to the Ghost Sentinel. After a bit more conversation, the quest will conclude and you’ll receive the following rewards for your efforts:

  • 30 x Diamonds
  • 100 x Shiny Bubbles
  • 150 x Thread of Purity
  • Mystic Illusion (earrings accessory) sketch

To craft the Mystic Illusion earrings from your quest rewards, you will need just a few simple items that can all be found right in Florawish and Breezy Meadow, or otherwise obtained via one Realm of the Dark challenge.
