What Mission Does Arthur Morgan Get Sick?

Arthur Morgan will transmit tuberculosis from Thomas Downes in the Chapter 2 Mission, Money Lending and Other Sins 3. This mission is not skippable, and even if players avoid it, they will automatically be forced into it before finishing Chapter 2.

The mission itself starts when players arrive in Saint Denis, and they will soon cough heavily and be tasked with making it to the doctor’s office. Arthur Morgan’s diagnosis from the doctor comes with a few disadvantages throughout the rest of the game:

• Core drain speed is increased by 20%
• Limited benefits from food and drink
• Losing weight with each mission
• A visually sickly appearance for Arthur
