In the Naruto series, Tailed Beasts are the living embodiment of chakra with power that remains unrivaled. However, the ones with the strongest control over their Tailed Beast have been Uzumaki Clan members.

The Uzumaki Clan Members Have a Greater Life Force

To become a Jinchuriki, a person needs to have a certain level of compatibility with the Tailed Beast. However, another aspect that is even more necessary than compatibility is the person’s life force, which allows them to withstand the immense burden of carrying a Tailed Beast within them. The Uzumaki clan members naturally possess a high level of life force, along with greater longevity compared to other clans.
This deems them the perfect Jinchuriki for Tailed Beasts, since they can withstand the grave effects of suppressing an entire Tailed Beast within their bodies. The Uzumaki’s life force stems from their lineage, as they are descendants of Asura Otsutsuki. While it is believed that the Senju are the direct descendants of Asura, the Uzumaki are distant relatives of the Senju, meaning that their lineage can also be traced back to Asura. This means that the Uzumaki clan possesses a similar heightened life force as the Senju clan.
Proficiency in Sealing Techniques
The Uzumaki Were Feared For Their Fuinjutsu
During the Warring States period, the Uzumaki clan was feared for its exceptional Sealing Techniques, as their proficiency in this art remained unrivaled by any other clan in the entire shinobi world. Ironically, their strongest asset led to their demise, as several nations banded together to annihilate the Uzumaki clan once and for all to get rid of the threat of their Fuinjutsu.
It was during that battle that in order to lend strength to Lord Hashirama, who had obtained Nine-Tails, Lady Mito sealed Nine-Tails inside of her using sealing jutsu and became Nine-Tails’ Jinchuriki.
Since Tailed Beasts are sealed inside Jinchuriki using the very same sealing techniques, having an Uzumaki as a Jinchuriki would ensure that the seal would never become loose. Mito Uzumaki was the very first Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, and she sealed Kurama inside herself using one of her clan’s secret sealing techniques.

The Uzumaki’s Life Force Allows Them to Survive Tailed Beast Removal
In the Naruto series, it is a known fact that a Jinchuriki will meet their demise if the Tailed Beast inside of them is extracted from their bodies. This fact was further cemented after the Akatsuki began its mission to extract the Tailed Beasts, which led to every single Jinchuriki’s demise. However, the Uzumaki are the sole exception to this rule, as there have been two instances where the Uzumaki Jinchuriki survived the process of tailed beast extraction.
Kushina Uzumaki, during Naruto’s birth, was able to survive Kurama being removed from her body. While she was left in an extremely weakened and critical state, she was still able to live and avoid meeting an immediate demise. It is likely that she could have potentially survived if not for the grave injuries that were dealt to her. Naruto is another example who survived Kurama being removed from his body. While he was also left in a critical state, he was able to survive long enough for the Tailed Beast’s chakra to be imbued into his body once more.
It has also been stated that it’s possible for Uzumaki Jinchuriki to survive Tailed Beast extraction by having a small amount of the Tailed Beast’s chakra returned to their body, a process that would essentially allow them to survive and to live on as if they were never a Jinchuriki in the first place. This feat has only been achieved by Uzumaki clan members so far, as no other Jinchuriki has ever been able to survive more than a few seconds after having their Tailed Beast removed from their bodies.
