Monster Hunter: The 12 Biggest Monsters In The Series, Ranked
A major staple of the Monster Hunter series is the inclusion of gigantic beasts for players to defeat, and here is a look at the biggest ones.
Back in the Windward Plains Base Camp, Dareel and Samin are still at each other’s throats trying to best one another when it comes to discovering all the life there is in the Forbidden Lands. This time, Dareel has requested you find an Ember Rufflizard. Thankfully, this one is a bit less hassle than some of the others so far.
How To Start Dareel’s Research Report (Cont.)
As always, Dareel and Samin are found back in the Windward Plains Base Camp in the large tent near the back. Before you can start this one though, a few conditions must be met. First of all, you need to have completed both Dareel’s and Samin’s Research Report quests, which had you collecting a Tracktail Lizard and Dapperwing respectively.
In case you hadn’t noticed yet, a random endemic life you have captured is always present in the research tent, as well as a caught fish.
Besides that, you’ll need to make quite a bit of progress through the story, so it won’t be available for quite a while after the initial duo of quests. Just keep playing until it pops up.
Where To Find An Ember Rufflizard
By time you pick up this quest, you’ll have explored every region and likely found plenty of their endemic life, too. By Dareel’s metric, the Ember Rufflizard can be found in the Oilwell Basin, and that’s the extent of the information he gives you. Thankfully, the Ember Rufflizard is pretty widespread and can be found under any weather conditions and during any time of day, though are most common during the Firespring.
They tend to stay in the sections of the Oilwell Basin that is far from the Oilsilt and other wet areas. As such, they are mostly in the lower reaches of the region, and can most easily be found around Area 8. Ironic, since there is quite a bit of oilsilt here. Toss the Capture Net their way to nab them and take them back to Dareel.
Of course, while Dareel’s side is finished now, Samin has another request for you.
