The head coach of Team Vitality Faded added to this, stating:
We weren’t in sync during this game. All of us are on a couple of different pages. We gave them too much respect and played on many different ideas.
Talking about their playstyle going into this game, Vayln had this to say:
Back home, playing with teams like KRU and Cloud9 with Oxy feels much more player-focused while countering. This time around, playing on the international stage and against Team Vitality, we know they are all on the same caliber. This is why we didn’t focus much on player-focused strategies. We just learned how to approach it and adjusted our macro to match them.
