The Best Deck for Uncle Ben

A no-brainer setup for Uncle Ben is a classic destroy deck featuring Knull and Death. To recreate this lineup, include the following cards: Uncle Ben, Knull, Death, Killmonger, X-23, Wolverine, Carnage, Nova, Deathlok, Venom, Deadpool, and Bucky Barnes.

Uncle Ben Deck Synergies

Killmonger, Carnage, Deathlok, and Venom are your primary destroyers.
Uncle Ben, Bucky Barnes, Nova, X-23, Deadpool, Wolverine, Knull, and Death benefit from destruction. These cards either get buffed, summon others, or reduce their Cost each time you destroy a card.
Knull and Death are also your win conditions.

Two substitute cards for the Uncle Ben deck are Arnim Zola and Lady Deathstrike.

How to Play Uncle Ben Effectively

Uncle Ben is a straightforward card, played similarly to X-23 or Deadpool. However, his secondary effect offers a strategic advantage. To take full advantage of it, play him in a lane with enemy cards that synergize. His summon, Spider-Man, will move one of those enemy cards to a different location, potentially disrupting their strategy.

How to Counter Uncle Ben

To prevent Uncle Ben from summoning Spider-Man, focus on disabling the enemy’s destroyer cards. One option is Armor, which can protect against destruction. Alternatively, since most destroyer cards are On Reveal, Cosmo is another effective counter.

Is Uncle Ben a Good Card?

Uncle Ben is on par with most other free cards in Marvel SNAP: he’s not essential, but he’s a fun addition to some decks. The only free card that’s truly a must-have is Cassandra Nova; others, like Uncle Ben, are mediocre at best.

If you typically run a destroy deck or enjoy that archetype, Uncle Ben can add some crowd control to your lineup, so it’s worth giving him a shot. However, if you don’t, it’s not worth trying to fit him into other decks, as the chances of him improving your setups are slim.
