South Korean studio, Dynamis One, founded by former Nexon Games developers is being raided by the Police for allegedly leaking development materials from an undisclosed Nexon Games project.

The raid took place on February 24, 2025, with the Police seizing evidence that big officials had illegally exported the materials from the Studio’s headquarters.

According to a report by ChosunBiz, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Industrial Technology Security Investigation Unit recently raided the headquarters of Dynamis One in Seocho-gu, Seoul, seizing evidence and related materials.

Dynamis One is a South Korean game company founded by former Nexon staff who were involved in developing Nexon Games’ anime-style RPG, Blue Archive. It was established in April 2024, by Park Byeong-rim and other key developers.

In September of the same year, they unveiled Project KV, which faced major backlash for its similarities to Blue Archive and was subsequently canceled.

Regarding the ongoing case, police have gathered evidence suggesting key officials have illegally exported development materials for an undisclosed project titled MX Blade during the process of leaving Nexon Games.

CEO Park and other key figures were involved in developing the game while working at Nexon Games and have been accused of systematically leaking crucial information about the project before leaving the company.

It is reported that they intended to utilize this information to aid in developing games at their new studio. These individuals are now facing charges under the Unfair Competition Prevention Act.

In response, Nexon Games stated, “This incident is a serious crime that undermines the foundations of the game development environment.” The company has pledged full cooperation with the police investigation to ensure strict accountability and has announced plans to enhance internal security.
