The latest Pokemon collaboration has been revealed, with vehicle manufacturer Honda announcing it is teaming up with The Pokemon Company to create a Koraidon motorcycle. The surreal real-world build of the Legendary Pokemon, which has yet to be completely unveiled, is capturing the attention of Pokemon fans everywhere.
Introduced as part of the ninth generation of Pokemon, Koraidon is a dual-type Fighting/Dragon Legendary Paradox Pokemon, serving as the cover mascot for the immensely popular Pokemon Scarlet. Believed to be an ancient relative of fellow Gen 9 Pokemon Cyclizar, Koraidon also has a futuristic variant in Miraidon, the mascot of the paired game Pokemon Violet. While there had previously been a theory of a release window for shiny Koraidon and Miraidon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, their alternate forms have yet to actually appear.

Pokemon Fan Creates Impressive Pokemon Red Cartridge Rug
A creatively talented Pokemon fan is getting noticed for their impressive custom rug, designed to look like the cartridge for Pokemon Red.
Announced alongside Pokemon Day 2025, the “Honda Koraidon Project” released a video teasing multiple close-ups of sections from the real-world build. The bike appears to include plenty of granular details from the Pokemon, looking virtually identical to its character model in Pokemon Scarlet. Created by a team of 40 engineers, the Koraidon will feature the ability to go into its Sprinting Build – using self-balancing tech called Honda Riding Assist – allowing it to walk on all fours as it does in-game.
According to Honda’s official press release, in addition to the balancing technology also allowing the Koraidon bike to self-stand on two wheels, the Honda Koraidon’s hands, legs, neck and facial movements are able to dynamically change depending on its Sprinting Build speed. Face, eye, and eyelid movements are planned to be included in the final build as well, though the moving components are not shown in the video.
The Honda Koraidon will be featured in an exhibit at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan from March 7-9. While an indisputably impressive creation, Honda isn’t the first to create a two-wheeled Pokemon vehicle, with Toyota building a real Miraidon motorcycle last year.
Even More Pokemon Vehicles
While both of the real-world Koraidon and Miraidon builds are certainly some astounding creations, they aren’t the first Pokemon-themed vehicles to be created. Though now the car models are a bit older, a Pokemon fan spotted Pikachu and Lugia promotional cars at a Pokemon convention, which included a Pikachu-themed VW Beetle and a Chrysler PT Cruiser modeled after Lugia. Given that both mascots of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet now have real-world versions in existence, it should be interesting to see what creations may come out of future mainline Pokemon titles.
