One Piece has also introduced some other very overpowered Devil Fruits in this arc, and quite a few of them belong to the Holy Knights, the elite order of Knights of the World Government. One of them recently had their Devil Fruit power revealed, and it is that of the Kirin, which is known to be a divine creature in mythology, making it one of the most special Devil Fruits in the world of One Piece.

If there’s one thing that the fans know is special about the Holy Knights, it is that they’re very powerful, and at the same time, that they have some of the most intriguing Devil Fruit abilities. When Gunko was introduced, her Aro Aro no Mi powers were fascinating to watch, especially when he damaged Loki with them. Later down the line, when Shamrock showed the power of his sword, it was clear that he possessed a mighty ability as he unleashed the Cerberus from his sword. Then, Shamrock and Gunko went on to call upon two more Holy Knights to Elbaf, and both of them are most certainly going to be Devil Fruit users. One of them has already shown his Devil Fruit power, and that person is none other than Saint Killingham Rimoshifu.

Saint Killingham is a very powerful fighter, and there is no denying that. Otherwise, he would never have been a member of the Holy Knights. Much of his powers remain unknown, but what is clear is that he wields a very special Devil Fruit, and this fruit gives him the power of the Kirin. Saint Killingham Rimoshifu showed his incredible ability immediately after being called upon in Elbaf. In fact, he was in his hybrid form to begin with, and fans could clearly see him resemble a dragon with the body of a horse or a unicorn. That is, as far as mythology goes, the definition of a Kirin, and fans are incredibly excited to see this creature be finally introduced in Elbaf, and at the same time, have a bigger role cut out for them.

So far, fans have only seen the hybrid form of Saint Killingham Rimoshifu, which means that the full transformation is yet to be seen. It is also possible that Saint Killingham is awakened, in which case, yet another transformation needs to be seen, as Devil Fruit Awakening offers a unique transformation to Zoans.

The Kirin is a very unique beast in mythology. It is said that the Kirin is a divine beast, and some even consider it to be the strongest of the guardians in Chinese mythology. Usually, there are Four Gods, each in one cardinal direction. There is the White Tiger, the Vermilion Phoenix, the Azure Dragon, and the Black Tortoise. But, sometimes, a fifth animal is considered to be a part of them too, and that’s the Kirin. Usually, the Kirin has the body of a unicorn and from the next above, a dragon. The Kirin is described to be a Holy beast of purity, which is somewhat ironic, given that the ability is wielded by a member of the World Government. It is also said that it is gentle and doesn’t harm those who don’t seek to cause problems, but for those who are its enemies, it unleashes holy fire from its mouth. In Japan, in particular, some records claim that the Kirin is the most powerful of all the mythological beasts.

The Kirin is said to be capable of flight. On top of that, it is said that the Kirin can also walk on water, which means that Saint Killingham might be bestowed with some very special powers. In some variations, the Kirin is known to be capable of manipulating lightning, which makes the beast doubly special, especially when its powers are combined with the Holy fire. All things considered, the Kirin is an absolutely terrifying yet holy beast, the powers of whom fans will most definitely get to witness soon enough in the Elbaf arc of One Piece.

How Strong Will Killingham’s Kirin Be?

Saint Killingham Must Be Admiral Level At Least

Saint Killingham Rimoshifu is most definitely going to be strong. While fans haven’t seen his powers yet, the fact that he holds a divine Devil Fruit in itself means that he’s going to be a deadly enemy for anyone to face in battle. More than that, fans know that Saint Killingham is a Knight whom even Dragon is wary of, given that he’s a part of the Holy Knights. Most importantly, Shamrock and the World Government, despite knowing that the Straw Hat Pirates are on Elbaf with two Giant crews, considered Saint Killingham, Sommers, and Gunko to be plenty to hold their own and complete the mission, even going as far as calling Shamrock back. That in itself is a solid confirmation of the fact that Saint Killingham is very powerful.

Fans should expect him to have very powerful Haki, as is expected of a royal family man. In fact, he could even be a contender for Conqueror’s Haki, which wouldn’t be surprising at all. On top of that, a Divine Devil Fruit is bound to push his power to the next level. And, when taking into consideration the fact that his Devil Fruit could be awakened, fans have an absolute monster in front of themselves. It is only a matter of time before Saint Killingham goes all out, and fans most definitely are in for a treat whenever he unleashes his abilities. Regardless of who he fights, fans should expect him to give a phenomenal performance in Elbaf. More than that, his character itself should be very exciting to witness, and when combined with the other Holy Knights, fans might finally have some very competent enemies for the Yonko of the One Piece world.
