One Piece is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, franchises in the world. Written by Eiichiro Oda, the manga has dominated the industry almost every single year. One Piece’s dominance began early on in Japan, but it didn’t enjoy the same level of fame in the West as Naruto and Dragon Ball, but it has turned things around completely.
Eiichiro Oda has put in an insane amount of time writing the main characters, which is why almost all of them have such a massive fanbase. Roronoa Zoro is one of the main characters in One Piece, so it’s hardly surprising that he is adored by the masses.

Recently, Roronoa Zoro’s birthday card was released on the official Jump Shop account, and it was confirmed that he has Conqueror’s Haki. This was a big moment, as Roronoa Zoro had not been officially confirmed as a user of Conqueror’s Haki. Naturally, Zoro fans were ecstatic that their favorite character truly possessed one of the best abilities in One Piece.
Another Controversy Around Roronoa Zoro
However, Jump Shop deleted the post that mentioned Zoro having the said ability, leading to widespread debates within the One Piece community. Since then, fans have begun debating whether Zoro has Conqueror’s Haki or not.
The Straw Hat began using the power ever since he got his hands on Enma, the legendary sword used by Kozuki Oden. For this reason, many fans believed that Zoro was using the Haki stored within the blade. Others believe the sword drew out Zoro’s inner Haki.
These debates are going to coàntinue until an official announcement is made or unless it is cleared up in the manga.
One Piece Anime Is Returning Soon
One Piece manga is currently focused on the Elbaf arc. Fans have waited for years to see the heroes go to the country and explore everything within it. They strongly believed that the arc would raise the curtain on some of the biggest mysteries in One Piece and so far, Oda has proven them right.
One Piece fans are also preparing for the return of the anime, which has been on break since last year. The anime is scheduled to return on April 4, 2025. The anime will return with the next part of the Egghead Island Arc. Aside from the anime, One Piece fans have a lot of other projects to look forward to in 2025.
One Piece Live Action announced a collaboration with Lego. At the time of writing, a release date for the collaboration has not been confirmed. However, it is highly likely to release at the same time as the second season of One Piece Live Action.
One Piece is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
