  • Bounty Clash in Hunt: Showdown 1896 is PvP intense, with no undead to defeat.

Bounty Clash is an intense and shortened version of the Contract mode in Hunt: Showdown 1896 that sends players directly into the PvP action. There are no undeads to defeat or zombies to kill. The game features a ready-to-banish bounty inside a single compound with 12 players fighting over it.

This means Bounty Clash includes more close-quarter combat than the regular Contract mode, and that significantly impacts the loadout, where long-range snipers might not be of much use, especially if the player is supposed to rush inside the building and take the bounty before the rival teams.

Rival 78 Build

Double-Barrel Shotgun With A Cheap Pistol

  • Primary: Rival 78
  • Secondary: Nagant M1895

Rival 78 is a decent double-barrel weapon for close-range combat. It doesn’t have the damage output of Romero 77, but at least it also does not require the player to reload after a single shot, which allows the hunter to stay in a gunfight for a longer period and chase after the target.

Nagant M1895, on the other hand, is a good and cheap reserve weapon for mid-range fights. It comes with a small vertical recoil that helps with keeping the iron sight on the target continuously. Not to mention that the muzzle velocity is also decent compared to its price.

6

Chu Ko Nu Build

Silent Close-Range Build For Holding Position

  • Primary: Chu Ko Nu
  • Secondary: Nagant M1895 Deadeye

Since its release Chu Ko Nu has been one of the most fun weapons to use in Hunt: Showdown 1896, as it comes with a quick fire rate as well as a brief reload time. The weapon deals a good amount of damage within close range, while also being silent.

On the other hand, Nagant M1895 Deadeye is an affordable weapon for the mid-range. Of course, the damage output is not impressive at all, but it has minimal recoil and comes with a decent fire rate and a big enough magazine to land a few shots on a single target.

5

Slate Build

Fast-Firing Shotgun With Accurate Pistol

  • Primary: Slate
  • Secondary: Uppercut

Slate is a reliable shotgun in the game that is quite suitable for 1vX combat scenarios. The weapon comes with a 6-bullet magazine and a fast enough fire rate to shoot at multiple targets in a brief period or compensate for missed shots. The damage output is also slightly better than its rival, Auto-5.

Uppercut, on the other hand, is the exact opposite of Slate, which serves as a deadly option for mid-range battles. Not that it doesn’t have a big enough magazine, but the extremely high recoil makes it only an option for the skilled players who barely miss their shots.

4

Drilling Build

Covering Both Long Range And Short Range With Teammates In Mind

  • Primary: Drilling
  • Secondary: Hand Crossbow

Drilling can do the job of two different weapons, which is why this build comes with a Hand Crossbow for the second slot. Featuring two barrels as a rifle and one barrel as a shotgun, Drilling is great for long-range battles and just as good for short-range fights, as switching between fire modes takes almost no time.

Hand Crossbow, on the other hand, is an amazing tool to help teammates thanks to the revive bolts. Knowing how chaotic the combat is in Bounty Clash, reviving teammates is always a good opportunity for opponents to take advantage of, while revive bolts solve this problem.

3

Auto-5 Build

Cost-Effective, Deadly, And Quick Shotgun

  • Primary: Auto-5
  • Secondary: Sparks Pistol Silenced

Although it deals slightly less damage compared to Slate, Auto-5 comes with an even faster fire rate but also an expensive price. So, while it is slightly easier to catch the targets with multiple shots using this weapon, it’s almost twice as expensive as Slate.

From beginner-friendly guns to challenging weapons that are potent in experienced hands, these are the best pistols in Hunt: Showdown 1896.

Moving over to mid-range and even long-range fights, Sparks Pistol is a phenomenal option, especially the Silencer with FMJ bullets. This weapon will not give away the player’s location while dealing a significant amount of damage. The only downside is that it requires a reload after each shot.

2

Specter 1882 Shorty Build

Carrying The Tools For Both Mid-Range And Short-Range Fights

  • Primary: Specter 1882 Shorty
  • Secondary: Mozin Obrez

Specter 1882 Shorty is a downgraded version of its original variant in almost every aspect, but it only requires a medium slot, which makes it possible to carry Mozin Obrez on the next slot, and that is enough for having an answer to every threat.

Mozin Obrez is a phenomenal rifle that doesn’t take much space while remaining quite effective. Knowing that not much long-range fight is required, Mozin Obrez is more than enough for a Bounty Clash run, next to Specter Shorty, which is still a beast.

1

Double LeMat Build

Spam Enemies With Back To Back Powerful Shots

  • Primary: Double LeMat
  • Secondary: Auto-4 Shorty

The importance of high fire rate in Bounty Clash is crucial and that cannot be achieved with anything other than double pistols. And what can be more effective than a double LeMat build? This weapon comes with both pistol and shotgun barrels. So, when equipped as a dual, it means the weapon serves as both a dual pistol and a dual shotgun!

The secondary slot in this case can be a Hand Crossbow too, but knowing that reloading a dual pistol could be a bit time-consuming, running with an Auto-4 Shorty on the secondary slot is a lot safer, especially for the lone wolves of Bounty Clash.
