Clash Royale, the strategy game from Supercell, is bringing up special features that improve the gameplay and take it to the next level. We have already got some interesting features such as Card Evolution and Tower Troops, and expect more in the future.

The same goes for Clash Royale, where you can choose a unique name for your in-game character. However, sometimes the name might not feel right, and you may want to change it to something more creative. For the same, my guide will help you to change your name in Clash Royale in simple steps.

Steps to change your Clash Royale in-game name

To change your name in the game, you need to follow the steps I gave below.

  • Launch the Clash Royale game on your mobile device.
  • On the top right corner, just below the Gems count, tap the three-line icon to open the pop-up menu.
  • This pop-up menu opens many options to choose from, including Battle Log, TV Royale, and more. From there, click on the Settings option.

  • Again, multiple options are found where you will find options like Privacy Policy, Credits, etc. In the same menu, you can find the Change Name option at the top. Click on it.
  • A pop-up will open where you can create your new in-game name. Confirm the change and you are good to go!

Tips to remember while changing in-game Clash Royale name

There are a few things that the players need to remember. Firstly, keep your name in line with Clash Royale’s naming guidelines. Do not use offensive/cuss words, as Supercell has the complete right to change this name or even ban your account based on it. Remember, you can only change your name a limited number of times, so choose your new name carefully.

Once you open a new account in Clash Royale, you have the option to rename your account one time for free. Once you have completed that free usage, you’ll need to pay Gems to rename your account again. The cost of Gems will increase each time you change your name, so be creative and choose wisely because it can get expensive.

Since they have officially introduced CoC to the PC platform, you can also download and play the game on PC. To change your name on the CoC PC account, you can follow the same steps mentioned above.
