Monster Hunter Wilds Is Paywalling Character Editing
Nothing quite like having to pay real-life dollars to edit your in-game character.
A classic monster in the series and a fan-favorite is the Yian Kut-Ku, a sort of chicken with flaming attacks and silly behavior. But don’t get it twisted; behind those silly looks and faces there’s a serious challenge, and here we’ll tell you all about it.

Best Weapon Damage |
The Yian Kut-ku has a small body, with multiple weak points, which works in your favor; its head, wings, torso, and tail are very easy to hit, so you shouldn’t have any problem breaking those. On the weapon damage side, Piercing and Slashing will do great against this foe, so get your bowguns ready.
Regarding elements, this enemy is weak against Water, Thunder, and Ice weapons, but its immunity to Dragon-type damage makes some of the best weapons in the game useless, so you’ll have to work on alternatives. Fortunately, you have a lot to choose from.

While we include the maximum upgrades of each weapon we recommend, remember that any stage of those weapon’s lines will work.
On the weapon side, the Hirabami weapons will work greatly, as they’re easy enough to craft and pack a punch on the elemental front. But if you want to use Thunder damage instead, Rey Dau’s bow should work perfectly for this fight.
By the point you first fight this enemy, you should have your best equipment from Low Rank, which should be way better than the base armor sets from High Rank, so just keep that on and you should be fine, at least for the first encounter, and then just switch for whatever you have that hase 10 points or more Fire Resistance.
Yian Kut-Ku – Fight Breakdown And Moves
The Yian Kut-Ku is a simple monster, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy one; first off, it’s fast as hell, and it also changes directions really quickly, so flanking it might not be always the best idea. Do not be afraid of repositioning, and always mind where its tail and head will swing next.
Regarding its other attack moves, this monster often throws flame balls out of its mouth, not in a straight line but upwards, so you must keep them all in sight before they land on your face. It will also do some sudden tackle runs with its beak down on the floor, and those can hurt bad, so stay on your toes.
