In Season 15, Overwatch 2 introduced a gameplay element that allows you to upgrade your hero the way you want through Perks. By damaging foes, healing allies, and more, you can level up your hero and select from two game-changing Minor Perks and two stronger Major Perks.
Perks have the ability to make certain Heroes become absolute powerhouses or even make them almost immortal. Not all Perks were made with just power in mind, though some have extremely silly effects. There are tons of them that make us laugh at what they do, and you need to take a peek at some of the funniest ones in the game.

Cassidy – Past Noon
It’s Half Past High Noon
This Perk is here just for its name alone, but it also happens to have a funny effect on Cassidy’s Ultimate. The Past Noon Perk makes sure that if Cassidy just so happens to use his Ultimate at the worst possible time, 30 percent of the Ultimate charge will be refunded if he doesn’t pull the trigger. This is kind of pathetic, as 30 percent is not that much charge in the grand scheme of a match, especially after wasting your entire Ultimate for a single tumbleweed and nothing more.
We are sure that countless times, you may have seen your Cassidy player holding their Ultimate for what feels like the entire game just to try flanking to get a play of the game quad, but that will only happen in their dreams. At least now, this little Perk will give them Ultimate charge back for their next attempt at glory.

Junkrat – Nitro Boost
Super Junkrat Kart
It’s time to start playing Junkrat Kart with this Minor Perk that upgrades his Ultimate. The Nitro Boost Perk gives Junkrat’s RIP-Tire a new ability to activate a massive boost of speed whenever you want, at the high cost of reducing the explosion’s damage by a harsh 50 percent.
This can be used in a variety of circumstances. For example, if a Reinhardt is shielding, you can activate the Nitro, and before they even have time to react, everyone behind the shield is already in danger. The sheer velocity at which the RIP-Tire gets launched is a blast that just makes anyone freak out and scream in fear, but sadly, the damage reduction makes it more of a soft slap of pain instead of a deadly explosion.

Reinhardt – Shield Slam
Shield Eliminations Are A Thing Now
Besides being a wall to cover teammates, there’s not much that you can do with Reinhardt’s shield, but this Major Perk looks to fix that. The Shield Slam Perk gives Reinhardt a variation of the Shield Bash that Brigitte has, but focuses entirely on sending enemies away from you.

Tanks are built to last, and these perks make sure of that.
Unfortunately, unlike Brigitte’s Shield Bash, this does not stun those it hits, so you can’t use it to interrupt any Ultimate, but as a trade-off, you can launch people off the map. Surprisingly, this ability has quite a lot of knockback, making it very easy to get eliminations with Reinhardt’s shield, confusing anyone who glances at the kill feed as to how that even happened.
7
D.Va – Bunny Stomp
Crush Anyone In Your Path With Your Mech
There is simply nothing more hilarious than eliminating someone by sitting on them with D.Va’s Mech, and this Minor Perk makes it much easier to catch your foes off guard. The Bunny Stomp Perk increases the damage radius of D.Va’s Call Mech Ultimate to 50 percent larger, making it a large hitbox of pain.
We can’t get over how fun this Perk is, as you can more consistently just throw yourself towards the enemy as Pilot D.Va and then do a giant 250 damage for free. If anyone is trying to punish your Self-Destruct, they will be hit with a surprise if they get too close, and the play of the game will be guaranteed yours.
6
Torbjorn – Anchor Bolts
Now You Can Build Your Turret Anywhere, Anytime, And With Anyone!
Torbjorn’s baby gets a massive upgrade with this Major Perk that allows it to become a spider turret. The Anchor Bolts Perk allows the turret to be placed anywhere; this includes walls and ceilings. It looks so weird having the turret placed in places where it doesn’t belong.
As you can imagine, this Perk allows you to build your turret in the most ridiculous of places to catch enemies off-guard, such as on the Push Barricade or on the ceiling of any enclosed space. If you have a Lifeweaver on your team, you can take advantage of their Petal Platform to get your turret into even harder-to-reach places. By doing this, you can get it into some funny places where your turret can only reach airborne foes.
5
Ana – Shrike
N-Ana Boost
If your Damage or Tank is always doing nothing with their Nano Boost, then it’s your turn to do their job for them with this Major Perk for Ana. The Shrike Perk gives you a taste of your own medicine by giving yourself a free Nano Boost whenever you use the Ultimate.

Pick the right Perks, and you’ll go from ‘healer’ to ‘hero’.
This Perk is a ridiculous upgrade to Ana’s Nano Boost as, by applying it to yourself, you can now not only have your teammate do tons of damage with their boost but also steal their play of the game away from them by doing way more damage and healing. All you have to say is move aside, teammates, because it’s grandma’s time to shine.
4
Mauga – Two Hearts
Canonically Accurate
One of the most unstoppable hard-to-counter Tanks, Mauga, is about to become even more unkillable on objectives with this Minor Perk. The Two Heart Perk makes Mauga count for two heroes on any objective and recovers 20 extra health whenever you are on them, allowing you to tank even more damage.
This is actually because, in the universe, Mauga does have two hearts, and so this Perk makes that a gameplay feature, too. It can actually be quite helpful despite being a strange choice, as when more people are on objectives, they progress faster. This also allows a team of six Mauga’s to count as 12 players on an objective which will freak out any player who doesn’t know about this Perk’s effect.
3
Hanzo – Sonic Disruption
Becoming A Master Of Code Breaking
Hacker Hanzo is here and ready to steal some health packs with this Minor Perk. The Sonic Disruption Perk allows the Sonic Arrow the ability to hack any health packs it locates for 12 seconds, speeding up their respawn speed and blocking enemies from using them, just like Sombra’s Hack.
Why is Hanzo now taking abilities from Sombra’s kit? We have no idea, but we love how strange this is, regardless. It can be quite useful if you are on your way back to a fight, but most of the time, it’s best to save the Sonic Arrow for its actual purpose. Unless you really hate Sombra, this Perk can act as a near-perfect counter to her kit.
2
Sigma – Hyper Strike
A Gravity-Defying Melee
If you ever wanted to have a mini Gravitic Flux that will let you show the enemy team the power of gravity, then this Major Perk is for you. The Hyper Strike Perk allows Sigma for every five direct hits of his primary fire to upgrade his melee, levitating foes up and away from him when they are hit.

Pick the right perks, or get out-dueled by a Mercy with a pistol.
This One-punch Man Sigma Perk is not the most useful, as making enemies float really doesn’t do much but mess up your aim and their aim, but there is one thing that makes this Perk a treat, environmental kills. Watching your foe slowly float over an edge and then plummet to their doom is so ridiculous but hilarious.
1
Zenyatta – Zeinth Kick
Never Skip Omnic Leg Day
Beware of the kick of doom, as Zenyatta will be a fearsome foe with this mighty Minor Perk. This horrifying Perk, Zeinth Kick, does one simple yet evil thing to Zenyatta: it makes his Melee, Snap Kick, do 30 percent more knockback! OK, but seriously, this Perk is very silly and super fun to use, and we love it.
One of the best buffs Zenyatta ever received was making his kick melee do more damage and knockback foes, and with this Perk, it’s even better. It is one of the best knockback attacks in the game now, and getting eliminations by kicking your enemies off the map will always be the best way to spread peace and tranquility.
