In this guide, we will teach you a super easy way to find Vespoids so that you can craft whatever piece of armor or equipment that requires the insect’s resources.

The Polygonal Monsters From the MH Wilds Beta Deserve to Go Down in the Series’ History
I can’t remember a technical issue that made me laugh as much as the polygon monsters in the MH Wilds open beta tests. Imagine my surprise when a flying potato chip swooped down and attacked the Arkveld I was fighting. It’s an unfortunate bug, for sure, but you have to admit, it’s pretty funny.
Vespoid Locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
-
Vespoids can easily be found in the Scarlet Forest, specifically Area 6 and Area 8. If you open your map and scroll around the Forest map, you’ll see tiny purple dots –these are monsters. So, look in these areas, pinpoint the Vespoids with a click of the right stick, and your mount will lead you right to their locations. Upon defeat, go up to them and carve them for resources. They can drop the following items in Low Rank:
- Vespoid Shell
- Vespoid Wing
- Monster Fluid
- Honey

Vespoids have been around since the first Monster Hunter game, and according to the in-game description in Monster Hunter Wilds, they are “Neopterons with paralyzing poison stingers.” They are also quite annoying to take down when in the air unless you use Throwing Knives or a weapon that can reach great heights. You can also try using Slinger ammo or Stones.

We’re still early in the game, so when we encounter new Environments, we’ll be sure to update the Location and Drop info for Vespoids.
