The Most Difficult Achievements/Trophies To Unlock In Two Point Museum

As far as Achievements and Trophies go, Two Point Museum won’t be at the top of anyone’s list when it comes to challenge. This quirky, casual management sim is there to be enjoyed, and the awards are the icing on the cake. While none of the game’s accolades have particularly exacting requirements, a lot of them do require you to log a lot of hours if you want to hit one hundred percent.

Two Point Campus: Guide To Knight School

Combat training, horse riding, knight invasions, and more? Yes, a lot more.

We’ve selected the hardest out of Two Point Museum’s 35 Achievements and Trophies, either because they take dozens of hours of gameplay or because they’re easy to miss if you aren’t specifically trying for them.

Product Placement

On the face of it, raising $10,000 through Sponsorship Deals shouldn’t be that tall of an order. After all, they’re a reliable source of income for your museum, so why wouldn’t you have Sponsorships running at every opportunity?

The trouble with the Product Placement award is that the game doesn’t do a very good job of telling you that Sponsorship Deals are even an option. They’re not really a part of any scenario tutorials, and unless you go digging through the Finances Menu, you might not even be aware of their existence, which certainly makes triggering the Achievement or Trophy a lot harder.

7

Directly To Jail

security escorts the boggymen from the premises after a failed heist in two point museum.

This is another one that should be easy in theory. All you have to do is catch a criminal who has stolen an Exhibit before they can escape. However, if your Security Guards are set up to do their jobs effectively, thieves won’t make it far enough for you to actually trigger the award!

With a good security setup, any criminals who enter your museum will either chicken out or get caught long before they actually attempt their heist. To earn Directly To Jail, your Guards need to be lax enough that a thief can get their hands on an Exhibit, but vigilant enough that they won’t get away with it.

This is easiest to unlock in the County Archives Security Exhibition, which offers plenty of opportunities to simply drop a Security Guard on a criminal as soon as they steal something.

6

Thaw And Order

a frozen cave person on display in two point museum.

Exhibits are your museum’s most precious commodity, so willingly sacrificing one for an Achievement or Trophy is going to sting a bit. Nevertheless, if you want the complete collection, you’re going to have to move a Frozen Cave Person away from a freezer and let it thaw, rendering the Exhibit worthless and letting a very confused prehistoric visitor into the museum.

For Thaw And Order to trigger, the Defrosted Cave Person must destroy one of your Donation Bins on their ensuing rampage. Be sure to set up a few near them as their icy prison melts to increase the chances that they’ll smash one.

5

Byte At The Museum

Once you’ve progressed the Bungle Wasteland museum map far enough, you’ll unlock the ability to construct Robo-Janitors and Robo-Guards, taking basic tasks off of your human staff so they can focus on the more complex stuff. If you have ten robots working in a single museum, you’ll earn the Byte At The Museum award.

Running a University in Two Point Campus can be tough, but at least these courses are fun.

Robots take time and resources to build, to say nothing of the Robo-Chargers they require to stay active. You’ll need frequent trips to the Oreful Quarry and Surplus Supplies to get enough Metal and Whirlicogs for your automated workforce, as well.

4

Mega Museum

a crowded museum floor in two point museum.

Mega Museum requires you to reach Museum Level 50 on any map. While it’s a fair bet that you’ll get there by the end of Story Mode, it’s a very long climb to reach that lofty goal.

A Level 50 Museum is nothing short of huge, with tons of high-Buzz Exhibits and a veritable legion of well-trained staff. In theory, it will make enough money to pay those high staffing costs, but it will also be a prime target for criminals, and it’s likely that such a large museum is such an intricate machine that moving anything out of place could have a domino effect on your efficiency.

3

Qualified Opinion

a supernatural expert chants from a tome to close a nether portal in two point museum.

Assuming that they aren’t devoured by giant fish or sucked into a hellhole in the Netherworld, your staff are critical to keeping your museum running. High-level staffers are worth their weight in gold, thanks to their ability to learn multiple skills that enhance their efficiency both at the museum and on Expeditions.

Leveling up a single staff member can take a very long time, even if you repeatedly send them on dangerous trips with XP bonuses. Getting them to maximum Rank and then training them so that all their skill slots are full, thus unlocking Qualified Opinion, is likely to take an entire Story Campaign and then some.

2

Silverbottom Reunion

bish silverbottom sharing a polterguest room with captain dreadge in two point museum.

You’ll find references to the Silverbottom shipwreck throughout the game, and as you explore the bottom of the Two Point Sea you may come across the ghosts of the intrepid Silverbottom crew. If you place them all in a single Polterguest Room, reuiniting them for the first time since their watery demise, you’ll unlock the Silverbottom Reunion award.

Finding all of the Silverbottom ghosts requires several dangerous expeditions, and you need to do them all from the same museum to be able to get the entire crew into the same Exhibit. That begs the question – is it really a memorial if the tangibly-real ghosts are the main attraction?

The Anomalonians

the pebberley heights anomaly in two point museum.

One of two Hidden Achievements / Trophies in Two Point Museum, The Anomalonians is likely to be found at the very end of the Pebberley Heights map. You need to activate the final Astral Anomaly, which requires a complex layout of other Anomalies and Celestial Cells.

That’s all we’ll say on the subject; the devs made this a hidden award for a reason!
