To start ‘The Ancient Revealed’ quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to have a minimum of 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock the door to the Aladdin Realm at the top of the stairs in the Dreamlight Castle. Using 15,000 Dreamlight to open the Aladdin Realm triggers the ‘The Ancient Revealed’ quest.

The first step in ‘The Ancient Revealed’ is to enter the Aladdin Realm. The city of Agrabah is overtaken by a mysterious, powerful storm and Dust Devils roaming the market and Princess Jasmine standing near the storm. However, there are a few quests to complete before you can unlock Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Magic Carpet. Entering the market reveals that the way forward is blocked by strange orange rocks, so you’ll need to find a way around using the rooftops to reach Jasmine, just as Aladdin might.

Find A Way Across The Rooftops Using The Environment

To reach Jasmine, you’ll need to use wooden planks to reach and traverse the rooftops. Head up the wooden platform with blue-green paint on the left and interact with the plank at the top to tip it over, creating a walkway you can travel across. Use your Royal Pickaxe on the wooden structure ahead, making a slope you can climb down. A note tells you that the sandstorms have weakened the structure, meaning it only takes one hit with your Pickaxe.

Continue forward and interact with the next plank to reach the rooftop ahead. Travel forward across the rooftop and hit the next wooden structure at the end of the path with your Pickaxe to reach the market below.

Go Through The Back Alleys And Evade The Dust Devils To Reach Jasmine

The next part of ‘The Ancient Revealed’ quest introduces Dust Devils as an obstacle you’ll have to get past without touching them. Travel down the back alleys ahead, dodging the three dust devils along the path.

If your character touches the Dust Devils, they’ll send you back to your last safe spot, so you’ll have to watch their movement patterns to avoid them.

Continue right, then left down the back alleys, then use your Pickaxe on the barred wooden door to open it, leading to a courtyard where you can find Jasmine standing near the windstorm on the left. Speak to Jasmine, who tells you more about what’s going on, and how you need to reach Aladdin.

During the Breaking Through quest, players must collect a lot of materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Use The Planks To Reach The Rooftops Leading To The Artisan’s District

After speaking with Jasmine, follow her to the entrance of the Artisan’s District, where you’ll need to use three more wooden planks to reach the rooftops leading to the District. You can find the three planks as follows:

  • Propped up against the wall near Jasmine.
  • Buried in the ground near the storm — you’ll need to use your Royal Shovel to unearth it.
  • Up the steps on the right by the wall near another Dust Devil.

Once you’ve grabbed all three planks, place them on the wooden structure near Jasmine and interact with the next plank as before to reach the rooftop above, which takes you to the Artisan District on the left and a green chest to open straight ahead. Use your Pickaxe on the wooden structure on the left to access the Artisan District below.

It’s also possible to find and pick up several Agrabah Marketplace Diary notes on the ground as you explore the area, with 10 Diary Notes to find in total.

Get Artisan Alloy Ingot From Market Chests And Craft The Artisan’s Alloy Pickaxe Upgrade

Once inside the Artisan District, talk to Jasmine again. You’ll now need to find three Market Chests to get three pieces of Artisan Alloy Ingot to craft the Artisan’s Alloy Pickaxe Upgrade, which you’ll need for the next part of ‘The Ancient Revealed’ quest and to break Sandstone Rocks. You’ll also need to pick up and dig up more planks to reach them, which you can find inside and close to the Artisan District. The three Market Chests are located as follows:

  • In the Artisan’s Market opposite the crafting table.
  • On the right side of the Artisan Market rooftop, accessible via another wooden plank to make a bridge. There is also another wooden plank to pick up near the chest and another plank by the wall near the rooftop edge nearby.
  • At the bottom of the steps on the Artisan Market rooftop, just past where you found the previous Market Chest — move the large barrel on the rooftop, break the nearby Sandstone Rocks, and use three wooden planks to reach it.

Once you’ve got all three Alloy pieces, use the crafting table in the Artisan District near Jasmine to craft a different type of Royal Pickaxe upgrade, enabling you to break the Sandstone Rock Deposits around Agrabah.

Break The Sandstone Rocks To Help Jasmine Leave The Market And Find Aladdin

Use the Artisan’s Alloy Pickaxe upgrade in your inventory to activate it, then use the Pickaxe to break the Sandstone Rocks behind Jasmine, giving you Sand and Gold Shards as loot. Starting at the South Alley next to Jasmine, use your Pickaxe again to break more Sandstone Rocks, avoid the Dust Devil, and gather three more wooden planks ahead to reach Aladdin. You’ll need to use the three planks to reach and break the rocks on the rooftop above where you can find Aladdin.

After listening to Jasmine and Aladdin reunite, you’ll complete ‘The Ancient Revealed’ and trigger the next Aladdin realm quest called ‘Brave the Storm,’ where you’ll help Aladdin restore the market. While they are talking, you can also grab the nearby Rope, Piles of Planks, and Timber by breaking the rocks, which you need to get started in ‘Brave the Storm.’
