Of all the completionist challenges in Stardew Valley, crafting every single item at least once may be the hardest.
Stardew Valley update 1.6.15.1 was released on February 26 for Nintendo Switch to celebrate the game’s ninth anniversary, and Barone revealed patch notes for the update on his official ConcernedApe Twitter account. The latest update brings platform-specific performance optimizations to Stardew Valley’s Nintendo Switch version, and the Junimo bundle button has been added to fridge and mini-fridge Uls. Another notable change with the update is an increase in roe from legendary fish ponds, and roe now have a higher average daily value. In addition, Stardew Valley players will no longer lose fish if they pass out during the fishing process or while holding it. ConcernedApp added extra spouse reactions while interacting with them outside standard dialogue, and he also teased new Easter eggs for players to discover.
The French, Russian, Hungarian, and Japanese translations of Stardew Valley were also improved to ensure the best possible experience for native speakers. A slew of Switch-specific issues in Stardew Valley were also addressed, including a bug that disabled Joy-Con and Pro Controller rumble in certain instances. Rare crashing issues were resolved with update 1.6.15.1, so players should have a more stable experience in Stardew Valley going forward.
Stardew Valley fans on Xbox and PlayStation platforms received update 1.6.15.1 on February 12, bringing these versions in line with the latest PC version. More Stardew Valley updates are expected to arrive in 2025, and it’s unlikely that a release date for Haunted Chocolatier will be announced this year. However, there could be smaller announcements and updates for Haunted Chocolatier this year, and a steady stream of content for Stardew Valley could keep fans happy in the meantime.
