For those unfamiliar with Sanji’s later attacks in One Piece, the Ifrit Jambe is one of Sanji’s strongest techniques in the entire series. It’s interesting to note the origin of the name for Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst, which invokes another cooking term, like many of his other attacks, which is fitting for One Piece’s Straw Hat chef. “Boeuf” is the French term for beef, while the burst part of the name may be in reference to the juices that are extracted from searing beef. This name is especially fitting since it references the sheer intensity of the heat that comes from Sanji’s powerful kick.
