Sanji has always been one of the strongest fighters of the Straw Hat Crew, rounding out the Monster Trio in One Piece, alongside Zoro and Luffy. Boasting some incredibly powerful kicks, Sanji’s fighting style has always been one of the most dynamic and active in the series, making every fight scene with the Straw Hat Chef a blast to watch. With a wide variety of cooking-themed techniques, Sanji also has some incredibly powerful attacks in One Piece that are absolutely beloved by fans.

One attack in particular, Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst in One Piece, provided an amazing spectacle during the Wano Arc, and very well may be one of his most powerful abilities. Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst Takes Full Advantage Of The Power-Up

For those unfamiliar with Sanji’s later attacks in One Piece, the Ifrit Jambe is one of Sanji’s strongest techniques in the entire series. During One Piece’s Raid on Onigashima, after rejecting the Raid Suit of his Germa lineage, Sanji learns to combine his genetically enhanced body with his previous techniques, allowing him to access a whole new tier of power. From here, Sanji can now access an upgraded version of his Diable Jambe, the Ifrit Jambe, burning extraordinarily hot blue flames that his body can now endure with the help of his Armament Haki and genetic tampering.

Specifically, Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst in One Piece is the final attack of a powerful series of moves, delivering a blow to attempt to finish off his opponent. This attack involves Sanji kicking his opponent in the center of their mass with his burning Ifrit Jambe foot, causing a massive spiraling explosion of flames. As many have pointed out, this power may be a direct upgrade to his older Mouton Shot ability, repurposing it as an Ifrit Jambe finisher.

Mainly, he revealed his Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst, which acted as the finisher of the fight.

For this attack, after Sanji kicks Queen in the head, disorienting him, Sanji jumps back before leaping forward. While heading towards his opponent, Sanji spirals in mid-air before using the momentum of his jump to deliver his iconic powerful series of kicks in One Piece, ending with the Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst, right to the center of Queen’s body. This attack then erupts in blue flames, completely decimating the All-Star of the Beast Pirates. After the attack finishes, it launches Queen far away, sending him off of Onigashima.

It Refers Specifically To Cooking Beef

It’s interesting to note the origin of the name for Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst, which invokes another cooking term, like many of his other attacks, which is fitting for One Piece’s Straw Hat chef. “Boeuf” is the French term for beef, while the burst part of the name may be in reference to the juices that are extracted from searing beef. This name is especially fitting since it references the sheer intensity of the heat that comes from Sanji’s powerful kick.

In the end, though many consider the Ifrit Jambe: Hell Memories to be Sanji’s strongest attack, the Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst is definitely up there as well. Additionally, being the move that was used to defeat Queen during Wano, this attack holds a large amount of significance for the fanbase of One Piece as well. Hopefully, fans will have the opportunity to see Ifrit Jambe and the Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst return sometime soon during the end of One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.
