A budget-friendly Nvidia graphics card with two different variants could be readying up for a launch in just a few weeks. That’s according to a new rumor that suggests the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is already in production, with Nvidia planning to launch 8GB and 16GB VRAM versions of the card in March and April.

We’ve seen hints of this new Nvidia graphics card already, thanks to an earlier RTX 5060 Ti leak which also suggested that two VRAM options were in the works, much like its direct predecessor. However, as our RTX 4060 Ti review shows, 8GB of VRAM was a bottleneck for that card’s performance. This means that the 16GB 5060 Ti is likely to be the more interesting card for gamers this time around, especially if performance makes it one of the best graphics cards for budget gamers.

This latest rumor comes via Wccftech who, via its own sources, is reporting that the RTX 5060 Ti is set to launch with 8GB and 16GB VRAM variants. Both will have a total board power rating of 180W, 15-20W more than their RTX 4060 Ti counterparts, with 8-pin and 12V-2×6 power socket options expected to be on offer. Both cards will also ship with the same 128-bit memory bus as the RTX 4070 Ti, although they will see an upgrade to GDDR7 memory chips like other RTX 50-series cards such as the RTX 5090.

According to Wccftech, the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti will reportedly see a launch in late March, with the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti expected to follow in early April. Unfortunately, there’s no information on pricing so far, but with the RTX 5070 priced with a $549 MSRP, we’d be expecting to see the RTX 5060 Ti cost between $400-$500 at MSRP, depending on the VRAM option chosen. We won’t know for sure until Nvidia officially announces these cards, however.

Either way, one thing we’ll be hoping for is that both RTX 5060 Ti versions will see plenty of stock availability on their respective launch days.
