New Dimension 20 Season Brings Dungeons and Dragons to WWE

Dropout recently announced Dimension 20: Titan Takedown, a special Dungeons and Dragons game starring four actual WWE pro wrestlers as guest cast members. Xavier Woods, Bayley, Kofi Kingston, and Chelsea Green dive into this four-part Dungeons and Dragons miniseries where ancient Greek mythology meets pro wrestling.

Dimension 20 is the TTRPG actual play series run by Dropout, the rebranded successor of CollegeHumor. The series has two dozen seasons with varying themes, systems, and cast members, though most of them are Dungeons and Dragons games run by game master Brennan Lee Mulligan.

There’s A New Dungeons & Dragons Series In Development At Netflix

With the fantasy genre absolutely killing it across streaming, Netflix has cast True Resurrection on one project that died prematurely at Paramount.

Now, Dimension 20 is getting ready for its 25th season – and this time, it has a larger-than-life twist. Titan Takedown is a special four-part Dungeons and Dragons miniseries “Side Quest” that combines Ancient Greece with pro wrestling. Airing weekly starting on April 2, Mulligan returns to guide four actual WWE superstars – Xavier “Austin Creed” Woods, Bayley, Kofi Kingston, and Chelsea Green – through this clash of mythic proportions.

Dimension 20: Titan Takedown Details

  • A four-part Dungeons and Dragons miniseries airing on Dropout weekly starting April 2 at 4 PM PST
  • Greek mythology meets pro wrestling
  • Featuring GM Brennan Lee Mulligan alongside WWE superstars as guest cast members:
    • Xavier Woods aka “Austin Creed” as Julius Mortem
    • Bayley as Thea Kitterloo
    • Kofi Kingston as Adonis Thanaformus
    • Chelsea Green as Tabatha “Tabby”

Titan Takedown uses the Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition ruleset. Woods is playing a Monk named Julius Mortem, while Kingston is playing a “king” of an unknown class, both ostensibly human. Meanwhile, Bayley is playing Thea Kittleroo, a Minotaur Barbarian, and Green is playing Tabatha, aka “Tabby,” a cat-like Tabaxi Rogue and femme fatale.

The first episode of Titan Takedown airs on April 2 at 4 PM PST, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly on the following Wednesdays, meaning the show will wrap up on April 23. As always, there will be an Adventuring Party talk-back the Thursdays after each episode. The premiere will be made available for free on YouTube on April 7, but the other three episodes will be exclusive to the Dropout streaming service until further notice.

Little is known about the next Dimension 20 series, though the Titan Takedown FAQ gave viewers a hint. Season 26 will star the Intrepid Heroes – core cast members Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson, with Mulligan as the GM – though the exact setting is unknown. The upcoming season could be a sequel to popular existing Dimension 20 campaigns like Fantasy High, Starstruck Odyssey, or The Unsleeping City, or it could be a brand-new tale in an original universe. Fans can expect to see a trailer for Season 26 near the end of April or early May, within a few weeks of the final episode of Titan Takedown.
