The new Fortnite season added a ton of new weapons, but there’s one that still sits at the top of most players minds, the Holo Twister. More so than the standard one, the mythic Holo Twister in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 might be the best available gun.
There are fun new Mythics like Sub-Zero’s ice moves, or a two-shot Mammoth Pistol… but the Holo Twister still sits at the top of the best Fortnite weapons. The Mythic is even better. With damage numbers that shouldn’t even be in a balanced game! There’s been changes to the mythics this season though. Players can’t approach the old spot and expect to find the Mythic Holo Twister in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2. Instead, you’ve got to go somewhere different.

How to Get the Mythic Holo Twister in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
The new Mythic Holo Twister in Fortnite has changed homes. In the past, it came from heisting the train. That now drops dill coins like the vaults. So where has the mythic Holo Twister gone? Some players might go through games without spotting it. However, it’s actually in quite a familiar place.
The new Mythic AR is now available to players on the Rift-In Island! While most of the island remains the same as last season, there have been a handful of changes. The Shogun X boss has actually been replaced, by nearly an identical guy. His face has changed, thanks to some Fortnite lore since the end of last Season. Also, his loot is fresher. Take him down now and you’ll get the Mythic Holo Twister in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2.

To get the Mythic, all you need to do is land on the island and defeat the boss. It’s an easy fight that most are aware of by now. but these are the tips:
- Land Early and Watch for Third Parties – the biggest problem in this fight isn’t the boss, but other players. Listen for players gliding in and deal with them first.
- Fire Attack – Easily dodged by moving to the side. You can keep shooting.
- Ground Attack – The attack where fire rises from the ground is the best one. While he’s in the lengthy animation, you can deal a lot of damage.
- Slash Attack – Just strafe to the side or jump to the side, it’s an easy one to dodge
Dodge the attacks, and you should be able to take him down without much fuss. Get the Medallion and the Mythic Holo Twister and you’re set up to win a Fortnite game with the right strategy for the final circle.
