Grandmaster Nightfalls are high-difficulty versions of Vanguard Nightfalls in Destiny 2. These Grandmaster Nightfalls are meant for players who grind the game daily, but the rewards are worth it as they include Ascendant Shards, Exotic Gear, and above all a guaranteed Adept Nightfall weapon.

From Cold Denial to Hollow Words, these are the best rolls you can earn on the reissued Season of Arrivals weapons in Destiny 2: Heresy.
HyperNet Current is the first one in the Grandmaster Nightfall cycle for Episode Heresy and is one of the easiest ones among the others that will be available in the coming weeks. If you’re looking to farm HyperNet Current for the Adept weapon and the other rewards, this guide will help make your journey a lot easier.
HyperNet Current Grandmaster Nightfall Eligibility
HyperNet Current is the first in the Grandmaster Nightfall cycle for Episode Heresy of Destiny 2. It started on February 25, 2025, and will end on March 4, 2025. Additionally, you are recommended to have a minimum of 2025 light level before participating. You can jump in with a lower power level, but that will make your task way more difficult. The maximum power level for Grandmaster Nightfall in Episode Heresy is 2040.
Its also important to mention here that HyperNet Current won’t be available for several weeks after its gone on March 4, 2025. Apart from that, the Adept Weapon that is available with HyperNet Current as of week 1 of Grandmaster Nightfall will also be replaced by something else the next time it returns.
You may be wondering what about the time when Bungie opens up all the Grandmaster Nightfall nodes. When the nodes open up, that is only for the sake of completing the Conquerer Seal. Once you complete a Grandmaster Nightfall in the node, they disappear. You can only farm the Nightfall that is available in the weekly rotation as the nodes are not farmable.
Since there are way too many Grandmaster Nightfalls as compared to how it used to be in previous years, there is no guarantee HyperNet Current will have anything worthwhile the next time it comes back. As such, it’s highly recommended you farm it right now before it leaves, as not only the loot is good this time, but it’s also the easiest Grandmaster Nightfall among some of the others.
Recommended Loadouts
Hunters and Titans are better off running the Arc subclass with Gathering Storm Super or Thundercrash respectively. You can use Raiju’s Harness
on Hunters and Cuirass of the Falling Star
on Titans. For Titans, you should also use Knockout for the extra healing as that will keep you alive. Both Hunters and Titans can proc Bolt Charge very easily, which synergizes well with the seasonal mods.
If you are running a Fusion rifle, make sure you have Particle Reconstruction active. If not, make sure to use a void weapon and unlock Void Flux artifact mod for the Volatile buffs. Finally, make sure to unlock Defibrillating Blast since it heals you whenever your Bolt Charge is at maximum and makes survivability a lot easier.
Warlocks can run Arc, but it is better to use Well of Radiance with Healing Grenades, Speaker’s Sight
helmet, and Hellion Aspect, since it provides both survivability and damage for the team and yourself. There are several situations where you will get overwhelmed by ads and Well of Radiance will help you clear all of them with ease.
As for primary weapons, Le Monarque is the best choice since it helps trigger Bolt Charge quickly and deals a lot of damage. It even comes in handy against the final boss. In the heavy slot, Watchful eye with the Jolting Feedback or Rolling Storm perk is very good since it synergizes with the seasonal Arc artifact mods. Commemoration and Corrective Measure are Void Machine Guns that also benefit from the Volatile mods in the seasonal artifact.
Machine Guns not only help damage the boss, but they also help stun Overload champions due to the mod from the seasonal artifact.
Finally, Vex Mythoclast is best run with Warlocks since it synergizes with the Solar subclass. Additionally, Fusion Rifles have both the Unstoppable mod and the Particle Reconstruction damage mod from the seasonal artifact. Once combined with the firepower of Vex Mythoclast, you can shred through the Unstoppable Champions with ease.
HyperNet Current Grandmaster Nightfall Guide
The opening section of HyperNet Current is quite easy. Initially, you will pass through a bridge where you will face some basic enemies that your team can take down very easily. Once you cross the bridge, you will step inside a rocky cavern, where you will find more basic enemies and two Unstoppable Champions. Make sure to defeat the Champions as a priority, though you have the option to skip the rest of the enemies.
After you cross the initial bridge section, you will end up in a massive open area with several enemies. Clear out the enemies as quickly as possible and make your way to the right side of the arena where there is an elevated platform. After a few minutes, a Tormentor will arrive which you will have to defeat. As long as you stay on the elevated platform, the Tormentor won’t jump at you, though its ranged attacks can hurt you. Two Unstoppable champions will spawn as well, which you need to get rid of.
The Tormentor in this Grandmaster Nightfall is considered as a boss, even though there’s no special mechanics to killing it than just shooting it until it dies. However, since it’s counted as a boss, you cannot land a finisher on it when its HP is low. So don’t try to jump in to finish it off, as you will end up dead.
After defeating the Tormentor, you will drop down from an opening, and its time for a really long platforming section. You will have to simply follow the path forward, though it will be filled with Unstoppable and Overload champions. Do not get too aggressive as being a Grandmaster Nightfall, the champions will hurt, and they can kill you very quickly. Take your time, stun them, kill one, and move to the next.
Once you complete the platforming section, you will eventually end up in the boss arena where you have to defeat Parthenios, Drifting Mind.
How To Defeat Parthenios, Drifting Mind
This is a fairly simple boss fight, though the chances of wiping are the highest in this section than any other part of this Grandmaster Nightfall. The boss’s HP is divided into three sections as you will have to take them down strategically. Once you enter the arena, you will get a few seconds before the boss spawns.
Use this time to hide behind one of the pillars at the back of the area. Once the boss spawns, use your Titan Barricade and Well of Radiance and start the damage phase. After the first HP bar is gone, Parthenios will have a shield. You will need to take down this shield before damaging the boss again.
While the boss is fairly easy, it keeps shooting projectiles towards you. Do not try to tank the projectiles and hide behind cover when they arrive. If you get hit by two projectiles in quick succession, you will end up dead almost instantly. Your Well of Radiance and Titan Barricades cannot protect you.
Once the shield comes up, a bunch of basic enemies will spawn along with an Overload champion. Take down the champion and defeat the basic enemies. Additionally, a couple of glowing Minotaurs will spawn which will drop a Cranium. Use the Cranium to destroy the Taken Blights all across the room. Ideally, you need one person to do this, while the other two help clear ads and keep the boss’s gaze on themselves.
Destroying the Blight will remove the boss’s shield, and you can deal damage once again. Take down the second HP bar and once again a shield will pop up along with a bunch of enemies, Taken blights, and an Unstoppable Champion. Repeat the same mechanics where you defeat the Minotaur to get the Cranium and use it to break the blights. Defeat the champion and finish off the boss.

The Hypernet Current Grandmaster Nightfall rewards from February 25, 2025, to March 4, 2025, include The Palindrome Handcannon Adept version, Ascendant Shards, Exotic Gear, and Exotic Engrams. You also receive Enhancement Prisms and Enhancement Cores as rewards for completing the Grandmaster Nightfall.
The Palindrome Handcannon used to be Void, but they have changed it to Arc for Episode Heresy, and it synergizes well with the seasonal artifacts that heavily boost Arc damage.
