Here’s everything you need to know about crafting items in Monster Hunter Wilds
After reaching the fabled Dragontorch, you will find out that a parasitic monster has been hibernating all this time, siphoning the massive pool of energy inside it while it sleeps. Zoh Shia is the name of this mysterious life-siphoning creature, and here, we’ll tell you all about it.

Zoh Shia is quite weak to Dragon-type damage even though it’s not particularly resistant against any element; however, you cannot exhaust it, so its rampage will never stop while it lives. Keep that in mind during the fight, as this foe will try to take you down with all its might.
During combat, you should aim for the head and wingarms, as those are the weakest, and since both Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage work pretty much at the same level here, you’ll be able to choose from any weapon type you fancy.

Best Recommended Armor |
While we include the maximum upgrades of each weapon we recommend, remember that any stage of those weapon’s lines will work.
For your weapons, you want to use a Dragon-type weapon, which is why the Grimmblick and the Bequeathed Oblivion work as your best options, taking advantage of Zoh Shia’s elemental weakness. However, as the weapon damage category doesn’t matter in this fight, you should be good to go with any Dragon elemental weapon of any kind.
On the defensive aspect, since this is still a Low-Rank fight, pretty much anything you have updated so far will serve greatly here; however, if you want a good recommendation with great skills, the Guardian Arkveld armor set is the way to go.
Zoh Shia – Fight Breakdown And Moves
As the last Monster of Low Rank, this fight won’t be impossible to win; however, it is a challenging mission, so you must be prepared. Zoh Shia is a massive monster that, even though it has an angelic appearance, hides a monstrous look under its facade.
The first few moves you’ll notice are AoE explosions that it triggers using its hands or head; these might occur in a wide area, a straight horizontal line, or move underground before exploding, so keep your distance. The spicy part, however, comes when Zoh Shia enrages, as it loses the angelic look to reveal a demonic appearance and will start using Fire-based attacks.
This is when it gets tricky, as its body will begin to transform; if you see it take flight, start running away, as this will be the first part of its ultimate attack. Zoh Shia will cause several stone spikes to grow from the ground and then morph into a fully demonic rage; when it does it, hide behind one of the spikes, as it will release a storm of fire that will kill you instantly unless you do that. Even so, you will be severely damaged, so drink a Mega Potion as soon as you can.
Eventually, the monster will fully transform its whole body and start shooting fireballs; these have quite a large area of effect when they land, so evade as necessary. It will also trigger some red thunder attacks and other fire-based AoEs, but its mobility isn’t the best, which might leave it vulnerable under some stone stakes that you can help collapse with your Slingshot. Be smart when you use them, stay on your toes, and after a while of learning its patterns, you’ll be able to defeat it.
