Nothing quite like having to pay real-life dollars to edit your in-game character.
A classic enemy in the Monster Hunter series, Gravios makes a triumphant comeback in the Oilwell Basin, where its hard carapace can withstand the high temperatures of this region. Here’s all that you need to know.

Gravios has a weak Belly, Head, and Back; however, its back is not as reachable and its head might also be a bit tricky to hit, so the belly is the best point to hit it. However, as breakable as the other parts are, those are also really hard to hit without bouncing, so keep your Partbreaker skill ready if you need to farm those.
On the elemental side, you will have to prioritize Water, Ice, and Dragon-type weapons, as those will inflict the most damage, and steer clear from Fire-based tools, as those will do nothing. Either Slashing, Bludgeoning, and Piercing damage will do the same, so any weapon goes for this fight.

While we include the maximum upgrades of each weapon we recommend, remember that any stage of those weapon’s lines will work.
On the offensive side, you want to aim for Ice, Water, and Dragon-type weapons that will hit the elemental weaknesses of this foe, so Hirabami, Xu Wu, and Guardian Ebony Odogaron’s weapons should do more than fine; remember that any type of damage is fine with this monster, so you don’t have to go for the same examples we gave you.
For your armor, we’d suggest you wear the Ajarakan or Rathalos armor sets due to their Fire resistance, but you can also go for the Yian Kut-ku one if you need to farm easier fights.
Gravios – Fight Breakdown And Moves
Gravios is a hard monster, and in the literal sense of the word; its rock-like skin is so hard that your weapons might bounce off it until you have White-level sharpness. To be able to inflict more damage, you can aim for the belly, where it is slightly weaker, or insist as much as you can with blunt weapons that might have an easier time breaking its skin, so it gets easier to land hits.
This monster will release clouds of Fire and Sleep elements, and both of them will leave you quite vulnerable so it can roll all over you; if this happens, you might even die, so always try to use ailment-negating abilities or bring the corresponding items to deal with those. If that isn’t enough, Gravios can also run and tackle you at a high speed, and even shoot a massive beam of Fire-type damage, which will likely kill you.
Hit its belly as often as possible, otherwise stay out of its path, and as long as you mind your elemental and ailment resistances, you should be fine.
