Marvel Rivals: Best Dive Characters
Dive characters in Marvel Rivals are versatile and mobile. These are the best picks in the game.
Rush characters usually have a decent amount of health, deal moderate damage, and like to attack from mid-close range. Rush characters excel at pushing an objective and attacking from the front line. While dive and poke heroes fulfill their roles, rush characters like to engage Vanguards and other Duelists that are playing up on the front line.

Scarlet Witch
Auto-Lock Damage And Mobility
Scarlet Witch is often regarded as one of the easiest Duelist heroes to play due to her auto-lock primary fire. While her auto-lock primary fire drains an opponent’s health with ease, utilizing her correctly is still very important. Scarlet excels in rushing in on enemies and draining their health while they’re currently in a fight with Wanda’s allies.
Scarlet Witch can also use her Dark Seal ability to continuously stun an enemy caught in the ability’s AoE. Her ultimate, which has been buffed in Season 1, will immediately take out all foes caught in the ultimate ability’s wide vicinity, which is devastating when used strategically.
7
Storm
Devastating Damage And Rapid Movement Boosts
After Season 1 had been released, Storm became one of the most-played DPS heroes in the game. She deals great damage, boosts her allies’ speed and damage, and her ultimate ability can destroy foes who are caught in a compact group.
Storm is a flying Duelist who can boost her teammates’ damage and speed with Weather Control and Goddess Boost. Storm also has a team-up ability with Human Torch that creates a large fiery tornado with her ultimate move, dealing enough damage to eliminate Luna Snow out of her ultimate ability.
6
The Thing
An Immovable Force
The Thing is a fantastic Vanguard in Marvel Rivals with one of the most prominent passive abilities: He is unable to be moved by any enemy moves, such as Spider-Man’s “Get Over Here!” ability. While he can’t be moved, The Thing can be stunned by abilities like Doctor Strange’s ultimate. The Thing prominently rushes through the enemy’s front line with his ram ability that prohibits the use of mobility moves and launches enemies up into the air.

Thing can also jump back into battle using his Embattled Leap ability to move across the map toward an ally and provide them with damage reduction. His ultimate ability will stun a group of enemies and launch them into the air, which is great for easy eliminations when synergized with teammates.
5
Wolverine
Vanguards’ Worst Nightmare
Wolverine, one of the most banned heroes in competitive play, is known to be a grand threat to most Vanguards in Marvel Rivals. That’s because he deals damage to enemies based on their health pool. Using his Feral Leap ability, Wolverine can ‘kidnap’ a target, fly them back toward his allies, and slash through the enemy with his teammates for an easy pick.
This works exceptionally well on Vanguard enemies since Wolverine deals more damage to them with his vicious claws. When Wovlerine’s health is depleted, his passive ability grants him bonus health that acts as a healing factor for the X-Men hero, allowing him to stay alive even longer through important fights.
4
Human Torch
A Fiery DPS With Amazing Damage Potential
The Human Torch is another flying character in Marvel Rivals that essentially deals more damage the closer he is played to enemies. His primary fire acts as a fiery shotgun blast that, when point-blank, deals massive damage that can eliminate a target in two shots. Human Torch can also use Blazing Blasts to not only create fiery AoE attacks but also connect them to form flaming walls.
With four connected into a box, any enemy within the walls continuously takes damage, creating an oven of damage that allies can take quick advantage of. When needed, Human Torch can use Flaming Meteor to either dive away from enemies or dive onto low-health targets to achieve fast eliminations.
3
The Incredible Hulk
A Monstrous Tank With Versatility
Like Wolverine, Hulk is one of the most banned heroes in competitive games. Hulk is a very versatile tank hero in Marvel Rivals that can focus damage wherever needed, though he mostly focuses on ‘squishy’ targets. Using his leaping ability, Hulk is also very mobile, and can even attack while leaping around. On an airborne character, Hulk can also tackle them out of the sky and slam them into the ground.

Having trouble dealing with Hulk? These Marvel Rivals characters can serve as useful counters to the green menace.
His ultimate ability unleashes a stronger and larger form of Hulk (Monster Hulk) that thrashes around, sending enemies flying everywhere. Monster Hulk’s ‘ultimate’ allows him to grab a target and slam them around, finishing them off with a stomp.
2
Mister Fantastic
A Hybrid DPS With Tank Potential
Mister Fantastic is one of Marvel Rival’s best hybrid characters, as he attacks from afar and can engage targets up close. Mister Fantastic has a large health pool as a Duelist character (350hp) and gains 450 bonus health when he activates his inflated state.
While in his normal form, his punches deal damage from a medium range, and he can absorb lots of damage using his Reflexive Rubber ability. These moves help Mister Fantastic to activate his Elastic Strength passive faster, which inflates Mister Fantastic, giving him bonus health and giving his attacks even more damage.
1
Winter Soldier
Ranged Gunfighter With An Exceptional Kit
Winter Soldier is regarded as one of the best Duelists in the game due to his passive ability, damage capability, and overall kit. With his pistol, Winter Soldier deals a moderate amount of damage, yet can quickly KO an enemy when targeted correctly.
His abilities will automatically reload his pistol and give Winter Soldier bonus health, encouraging players to combo his primary shots with his different abilities. Winter Soldier can use Bionic Hook to pull in a target, shoot them with his pistol, and then use Trooper’s Fist to finish them off. If needed, Winter Soldier would have his pistol reloaded to deal extra damage, and another ability left to combo with.
