Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Wish Me Mell Character Guide

Wish Me Mell is an absolutely adorable character in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Here’s how to meet and befriend her.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at all you need to know about the Chef’s Station in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will cover the initial food that you can make, as well as all other food types that will eventually become available for you.

How To Unlock The Chef’s Station

In order to unlock the Chef’s Station, you will first need to unlock and visit City Town, as well as meet Usahana. Once this has been done, you’ll need to unlock the Imagination Cafe, which is done through the quest called A Whole New Menu. To start this quest, you’ll need to have friendship level three with Usahana.

This quest tasks you with visiting Hello Kitty and Chococat, and then finding the Colorful Key, which unlocks the doors to the cafe. After you’ve completed A Whole New Menu, you’ll be able to start making Mochi right away. The cafe won’t officially be open, but you can come and go whenever you want.

Every Mochi Recipe

Before making Mochi, you’ll need to make some Rice Flour. From the Chef’s Station main menu, you’ll see the rectangular Rice Flour icon, which takes one serving of Rice to make five flour. This needs to be done before you make any Mochi.

Once you have enough Rice Flour, you’ll need to click on the Mochi icon and choose the flavor. Unlike other recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Mochi only takes one ingredient. Below, you can check out all Mochi options.

How To Make Dango

After reaching friendship level six with Usahana, you’ll be able to make Dango. Rather than having different recipes, Dango is based on the Mochi used. To make one Dango, you’ll need the following items.

  • 1x Stick
  • Any three Mochi (types can vary)

If you make Dango with three Sweet Mochi, then you’ll get a Triple Sweet Dango. If you use two different types, like two Sweet and one Spicy, then you’ll get Double Sweet Spicy Dango. Finally, if all three are a different flavor, then all three types will display. For example, if you added in a Chocolate Mochi, you’d get Sweet Spicy Chocolate Dango.

How To Make Boba

The Tea Time quest display in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

After reaching friendship level ten with Usahana and completing the quest Tea Time, you’ll be able to make Boba. This works a bit differently than other recipes at the Chef’s Station, as there are a lot more combinations.

First and foremost, you’ll need to combine Tea Leaves with at least one of the following.

  • Coral Milk
  • Tapioca
  • Honeycomb

Drinks with Coral Milk will have Milk in the title, and drinks with Tapioca will have Boba in the title. If you make a drink with milk but no Tapioca, it will just be a milk tea. For Honeycomb, the amount you add changes the sweetness indicated in the title.

No Honeycomb is unsweet, one Honeycomb is semi-sweet, two Honeycomb is sweet, and three Honeycomb is very sweet. This is the maximum amount of Honeycomb that you can add to a drink.

Let’s look at a sample drink. By combining the following ingredients, what would you get?

  • 1x Tea Leaves
  • 1x Coral Milk
  • 2x Honeycomb
  • 1x Snowcicle

This would result in Sweet Frosty Milk Tea, No Boba! The flavor of the drinks is similar to Mochi flavoring, which you can check out below.

You’ll learn this process in the quest Tea Time as well.

Onigiri & Snow Ice Recipes

Lastly, we have Onigiri and Snow Ice. After obtaining the recipe card for Onigiri, you’ll be able to make it. This card is found in the Sewers, which needs to be unlocked through the quest Above and Below. All Onigiri requires Rice, a Seaweed Sheet (this is made out of Seaweed found in the Sewers), and another ingredient that we’ve specified in the table below.

Snow Ice, on the other hand, becomes available after you complete the quest called Room for Dessert. To make Snow Ice, you’ll first need to make Shaved Ice with one Snowcicle. You’ll learn the Shaved Ice recipe through the quest, so you don’t need to go searching for it.
