What Mariana’s Veil has to offer promises to be incredible, but before you can get there, you will need to complete a simple task to provide yourself with everything you need.

You should build your own submarine to survive the temperature and pressure of the underwater caves. Luckily, it’s not as difficult as it sounds, but it does take time, as you will need to break a lot of rocks with the Drill.
How To Obtain The Submarine
The submarine will be your main and only vehicle in the underwater caves and to travel to its sub-locations. It does play an important role, and fortunately, there’s nothing complicated to get it. All you need to do is collect and bring all five parts of the submarine to Dr. Glimmerfin. To do so, you will need to find Dr. Glimmerfin himself and get this errand from him.
To get to Dr. Glimmerfin, use your GPS. You will find this NPC in Roslit Bay at The Submarine Depot, near the lighthouse, at the following coordinates: 1305, 130, 310.
After the dialog with Dr. Glimmerfin, you will receive a Drill. You should use this tool to break the rocks placed on the other side of the lighthouse. When you arrive at the location, break as many rocks with purple cracks as possible. Each of them has a five percent chance of dropping a part of the submarine. In total, you will need to collect five parts of the submarine:
- Back Fins
- Metal Panels
- Submarine Top
- Side Fins
- Windows
You won’t be able to get any of these parts any other way, so you will need to take the Drill and grind away.
After collecting all the parts, go back to The Submarine Depot and talk to Dr. Glimmerfin. Then, you can put all these parts together on the translucent projection of the submarine that stands next to Dr. Glimmerfin. To add one of the five items to the projection, simply hold it in your hand and press the interact button.
Lastly, talk to the NPC again, after which a beautiful cutscene will begin, showing you the process of unlocking the underwater entrance to Mariana’s Veil. After all this, you will finally be able to take your submarine and go travelling.
