If you’re training Henry as a marksman in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, it’s best to have at least one of these powerful bows on hand.

In this guide, players will have at their disposal all the information related to the Magic Arrow, where to get it, all the choices and consequences, and the location of Pasha’s bandit camp so they can complete the quest real fast. But first, let’s take a look at how to start this quest in KCD2.

How To Start The Magic Arrow In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To start The Magic Arrow in KCD2, players need to find Pasha and Hare, who are usually drinking their problems away in the Devil’s Den Tabern. Simply talking to him and offering to hear their story will start the quest, and then Pasha will explain to Henry that he wants to get his hands on Karel’s special Arrow, which was, by force of fortune, stuck in the bandit’s head and provided him with special abilities.

The arrow stuck in the head of their former leader, Karel is now located in his grave since he was captured and executed. Henry can then choose to help by finding Karel’s grave location and getting back The Magic Arrow from his skull.

How To Find Karel’s Grave And The Magic Arrow

To find out where Karel is buried, players need to start by traveling to Sedletz Monastery (it is located in the far eastern corner of the Kuttenberg region, so grab a horse because it will be a long journey), and then find the Gravedigger to ask for ‘directions.’ The man will be stubbornly fixated on the idea that the bandit was instead a sorcerer, so he won’t reveal his grave location easily. Players will have to pass a couple of checks before finally finding out where he is located.

If players want to skip this step, they will find Karel’s grave below the big Willow outside the Graveyard’s wall. There’s a Spade there in case players do not carry one with them all the time. After digging the grave Carefully remove the Arrow from Karel the Arrowhead’s body and return to the Devil’s Den to collect the reward.

The issue now is that only Hare is present there, and players need to follow him to their hideout to collect the reward. Show the Arrow to Hare and follow him to meet Pasha. Hare will ask where Karel was buried, players can choose to reveal the truth or hide the location of the former bandit boss’s grave. And there’s one more choice to make before players can proceed to deliver the Magic Arrow to its future owner.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Best Swords, Ranked

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is home to a vast collection of swords, but these particular bladed weapons are easily among the best.

Should You Give The Arrow To Hare Or Pasha?

Talking to Hare while heading to their hideout, he will reveal his concerns about handling the Magic Arrow to Pasha, he seems to be questioning his leadership, and the possible outcomes of handling the arrow to the bandit leader.

Now comes a choice in this quest, handling the Arrow to Hare for safekeeping, preventing the robber band from diving into some dangerous and nasty business that will surely turn in their demise, or continuing moving forward and giving the arrow to Pasha, which will definitely will have a sad outcome. Henry can also give the arrow to Hare with the promise that he will lead a life of rectitude, and give up banditry, but that’s unlikely to happen.

If Henry chooses to be stubborn and doesn’t handle the arrow to Hare, players will have to pass a Hard Persuasion/Intimidation Check, or he will attack and Henry will have to defeat him. Passing the check will convince Hare to move out and leave Pasha’s gang, but that will also mean that Henry will have to explain his disappearance to Pasha.

If players handle the Arrow to Hare, the quest will immediately end there, and they will not receive any rewards except some Survival Exp. The Bandit camp and Pasha will become immediately hostile the next time players visit that location.

Pasha’s Bandit Camp Location In KCD2

After finishing with Hare (either killing or convincing him to give up) players will need to move forward and find Pasha’s camp on their own, as Hare won’t reveal its location. The camp is located in the deepest parts of the wood, to the southeast. They can follow the smoke to spot its exact location but this will require them to have a little luck spotting the smoke column. It will be baster to look at the image above and check the exact location to complete the quest.

Give Pasha ‘The Blessing’ Of The Magic Arrow?

Now players have another important choice to make, they can either Rat Hare out and warn Pasha about his betrayal, or fake ignorance and tell him they didn’t meet Hare. Either way, he will be angry at Hare, and this quest has yet another surprise for players: Pasha will ask them to shoot the arrow at them to ‘bless him’ with the Heavenly Father’s protection. Rejecting it will make players pass another Hard check, and if they fail, the entire bandit camp will become hostile, so be careful.

The most logical choice is to shoot him down and be done with it, and believe it or not, it will be the best possible outcome since the arrow will do exactly what an arrow to the head should do to a smelly bandit like Pasha: kill him. Once the deed is done, Pasha’s band will flee in awe thinking this is naught but a ‘punishment from heaven’ and Henry will have a nice new ‘Pasha’s Crossbow’ they can use (ironically) to hunt down more bandits.

Don’t forget to pick the Magic Arrow back from Pasha’s body, since it does more damage than a regular crossbow bolt, and that’s the end of The Magic Arrow Quest. Also, the bandit camp will become available for looting without them having to fight a horde of miscreants. So, lucky Henry! He has some extra loot as a reward, which includes some Brocade, Groschen, and dried Roe meat.
