All of the quests in The Sims 4‘s anniversary event are now available, which means gamers can complete the four weekly sets of quests and unlock dozens of freebies for their game. The final set of quests features the Hidden Motives and The Good Thief Quests. This week, there aren’t as many quests as usual, so gamers can get finish them relatively quickly.

The objective of the Hidden Motives Quests is to find out why the thief stole in the first place.

Report to Emit on the Experiment

Before receiving additional tasks, gamers will have to send one of their Sims to Magnolia Blossom Park in Oasis Springs, so they can talk to Emit and report on how the experiment went.

Send a Time Traveling Email to the Thief

Since this was a time traveling email, the response will already be available. Players can check their Sims’ mailbox to retrieve the letter.

Read the Thief’s Letter

Once retrieved, gamers will find the thief’s letter in their Sim’s inventory. They must interact with it and read it. Here is what Sims will find written in the thief’s letter:

“To (Sim’s name), I didn’t mean to worry anyone. I know I should have asked before I did what I did. I was really just trying to save stuff from the past for the future, and have some fun! I’m sure we’ll run into each other… in time. Gotta run! I have some things to pick up. Sincerely, the Thief“

After receiving the thief’s response, players must wrap the event and claim their final rewards.

Tell Emit About the Thief’s True Intentions

Players have been reporting to Emit throughout the past few weeks, and now they must share the thief’s answer to their email with him at Magnolia Blossom.

Say Goodbye to Emit

Lastly, now that everything has been resolved, it is time to say goodbye to Emit. He will present the player’s Sim with a farewell message and return to wherever and whenever he’s from.
