Fire Force Season 3 Background Information
What We Know About the Upcoming Third Season So Far
Fire Force Season 3 was announced in May 2022, two years after the second season aired. In July 2024, it was further revealed to be a split cours. David Production (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is the studio behind the animation production, with Tatsuma Minamikawa, who directed the second season as the replacement for season 1 director Yuki Yase, returning to the director’s seat for the third season. Sei Tsuguta will write the scripts and provide series composition for Fire Force Season 3, art direction by Yumi Horikoshi, while Hideyuki Morioka once again provides the character designs. The cast will once again feature the following:
- Gakuto Kajiwara as Shinra Kusakabe
- Kazuya Nakai as Akitaru Ōbi
- Aoi Yūki as Tamaki Kotatsu
- Kenichi Suzumura as Takehisa Hinawa
- M.A.O as Iris
- Saeko Kamijō as Maki Oze
- Yūsuke Kobayashi as Arthur Boyle
Crunchyroll will air both parts of Fire Force Season 3 as they air in April 2025 and January 2026 respectively. In the brand-new trailer revealed at IGN Fan Fest, it was made apparent that fans can expect the third season to be even more “powered up” than its predecessors, particularly when it comes to comedy. In the upcoming Fire Force Season 3, the Captain of Fire Force Company 8, Akitaru Ōbi, has been kidnapped by the members of the White-Clad, who want to use him to lure out Shinra Kusakabe, whom they want because of his Adolla Burst. If the trailer is anything to go by, season 3 is going to have absolutely impeccable visuals, perhaps even better than what we saw in season 1 and season 2.
Fire Force is available on Crunchyroll and PrimeVideo. Season 3 will also be available on Crunchyroll as it airs.
