Escape From Tarkov Offering Players a Free Gift Bundle, But There's a Catch

Summary

  • Use code TARKOVLATAM for free gift bundle in Escape From Tarkov.
  • The code is only available for PvP players.

Escape From Tarkov developer Battlestate Games has recently unveiled a new promo code that allows gamers to get a free gift bundle in the popular extraction shooter. However, the free gift bundle comes with a catch, as the code is only redeemable in PvP, so PvE players in Escape From Tarkov will miss out on this new promotion.

Released in early access in 2017, Escape From Tarkov is a first-person shooter developed by Battlestate Games. Over the years, Escape from Tarkov became very popular, going from around 10,000 to over 200,000 players in 2020. In the same year, Battlestate Games promised that Escape From Tarkov would come to Steam when it reached version 1.0, which has not happened yet.

Now, Battlestate Games has unveiled a new Escape From Tarkov promo code, which allows gamers to obtain a free gift bundle packed with goodies. To unlock it, gamers have to visit the official Escape From Tarkov website, click on “Activate Promo Code” and use the code TARKOVLATAM. The code will give the player: Mk 16 Assault Rifle, Takedown BP, STRIKE Helmet, Banshee Rig, ComTac IV Headset, three units of GEN M3 Magazines, 100 units of M856A1, Propital Injector, Condor Glasses, and EXPS3 Optic. However, only PvP players can redeem the code, as it is not available for PVE right now. Apart from this code, the developer is running a Twitch Drops campaign, which will last from February 26 to March 1 for the base game, and from March 1 to 3 for Tarkov Arena.

This new bundle is part of the celebrations for the new LATAM regional pricing of Escape From Tarkov. From now on, gamers will be able to purchase the popular extraction shooter in Latin America with prices that better reflect regional rates. The Standard Edition of the game will cost $20 USD, for example, while Escape From Tarkov Arena costs $15.

Escape From Tarkov continues its path towards the 1.0 release. Last year, the game’s director Nikita Buyanov asked for player input on how to fix Escape From Tarkov, as the studio is set to focus the new improvements on what the community needs.

While Escape From Tarkov still has a problem with cheaters, like in many other popular online competitive games, development seems to be moving smoothly. There are expectations that Escape From Tarkov 1.0 will finally be released in 2026, as the current roadmaps run until 2025, but nothing is set in stone yet.
