Before diving into Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, there are a few things that new players should know.
While outfits won’t affect Majima’s combat or sailing abilities in any way, they will still allow him to show-up his opponents from a visual point of view, before he takes them out with an extravagant and flashy combo. When matching each of Majima’s outfits up, some stand out for being just a little more eye-catching and memorable than the others.

Overalls
Majima Opts For A More Casual And Minimalistic Look
- Where To Buy: Clean-Clean Household Supplies
There’s no shame in opting for more casual attire when picking out Majima’s outfit, and in terms of general design, this is one of the best. While it’s fairly plain, that’s arguably what makes it so great, since Majima is accustomed to having outfits with a wild variety of decorations and symbols, so it’s a nice change to see something a bit more stripped back.
This can be a fun costume to throw on when strolling around Hawaii, or even during a second playthrough, where it can be worth equipping some goofy outfits when boarding the ship and sailing the seas. This cozy outfit should definitely be added to Majima’s wardrobe as quickly as possible, considering how easy it is to put on when going for a casual stroll.
2
Zombie
- How To Unlock: Complete Madlantis Photo Rally
As would be expected, Majima’s iconic golden open jacket and black pants combo are back, though Majima himself looks a little different when he equips this outfit, primarily because he becomes a zombie. With blood spattered across his mouth and his entire body turning pale, it’s the creepiest skin in the game, and if anything, can make Majima look more like a villain than a hero.

That’s what makes it so fun to throw on though, since it allows players to feel unstoppable in combat, as if they truly are a flesh-hungry zombie taking out entire swarms of enemies with lethal attacks. Of course, it also earns bonus points for bringing back Majima’s classic attire, which is still just as effortlessly cool as it’s always been.

Desperado
An Unusually Stoic Depiction Of The Legendary Mad Dog
- Where To Find: District Five Container
Sure, Majima may be known as someone proficient at wielding blades, but when it comes to firearms, it’s never really implied that he’s a very good crack shot. With this quirky outfit though, Majima steps into an alternate universe where, rather than a Yakuza or a pirate, he instead becomes an outlaw, with a cowboy hat and brown boots to match.
While fans of the series were able to see many of the characters try on this skin back in Infinite Wealth as part of the Desperado job, Majima wasn’t included, since he wasn’t a playable character in the game. Now, though, players can saddle him up in this outfit which, while a little plain, is still well worth spending the cash on for how stylish it is.

Tianyou Zhao
Zhao’s Casual Attire Fits Majima Like A Glove
- How To Unlock: Deluxe Edition Or DLC Purchase
Tianyou Zhao, one of Kasuga’s party members who was introduced in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, seems to have an extremely similar fashion sense to Majima, since his casual clothes are a perfect fit for the Mad Dog. While the slick leather jacket seems like something Majima would throw on in his later years, the floral shirt is very reminiscent of Majima’s golden shirt that he can be seen wearing in many of the previous games.
The knee-high shorts and leg braces may be a bit more fashionable than what Majima’s accustomed to, but it all serves to make him look truly badass, and even pretty intimidating, harkening back to Majima’s years as a gangster. Credit must be given to Zhao for this captivating outfit being added to the game for Majima to try on.
5
Kazuma Kiryu
Majima Takes A Page From His Rivals’ Book And Dons Kiryu’s Professional Gray Suit Attire
- How To Unlock: Deluxe Edition Or DLC Purchase
No matter how separate from the mainline Yakuza series a spin-off might seem, Kiryu will always manage to make an appearance, even if it’s just through his classic suit and red shirt popping up. While this outfit is a lot more professional than anything Majima would usually wear, it suits him surprisingly well, which is ironic considering how much blood Majima has spilled on it in the past games.

While not bad, players shouldn’t waste their currencies on these skills.
While some might choose this outfit to make it feel as though they are playing Kiryu in-game, others will simply just want to give Majima a little more style and elegance as he soars across the vast open seas. An ironic outfit that longtime fans of the series will want to get their hands on.

Idol
An Outfit Referencing A…Simpler Time For Majima, Back When He Was Still A Fresh Face In The Series
- Where To Find: Little Japan Container
This outfit throws it back to Yakuza 0, and more specifically, Majima’s 24-Hour Cinderella karaoke gig. When performing this upbeat tune, Majima throws on this glossy outfit which is covered in pink stars and stripes. Another notable feature of the costume is how Majima’s hair is slicked back into a ponytail, along with the lack of facial hair, which means this is essentially a younger Majima skin.
Fun, vibrant, and bombastic, this outfit essentially spells out Majima’s personality, which is why it ends up being such a good fit for him. It’s time to show some scallywags what a big-shot Yakuza from the 80s truly looks like.

The Noble Corsair
Majima Dresses The Part To Embark On A Long Adventure Of Piracy
- Where To Find: East Waikiki Container
Though this outfit can be acquired pretty early on in the game, it’s still a stunning costume that some may even decide to keep on for an entire playthrough considering how perfectly it fits the game’s aesthetic. Whether it’s the black pirate hat, huge brown boots, or the large trench coat reaching over his entire body, there’s a lot to love about this outfit, which gives Majima a real sense of authority; worthy of a captain such as himself.
It’s funny that Majima’s eyepatch tends to be easy to forget about in other games, but when throwing this outfit on, it becomes much more noticeable as just one aspect of the pirate attire. Simply put, this is a dazzling outfit that allows players to feel as though they are truly living out Majima’s dream of being a fully-fledged pirate.
What If Majima Became The Lead Singer Of A Heavy Metal Band?
- Where To Find: Cultural District Container
While Majima certainly suits a Kiss-inspired heavy metal outfit, what takes this costume to another level is how much detail is packed into it. From the purple electricity sparks shooting up from the jacket to the deadly spiked shoulder pads resting on each side of Majima’s body, there’s a ton to admire about this creative outfit.
It’s also just so vibrant in its presentation, with the purple and black combo resulting in a real feast for the eyes, alongside the skeletal face paint, which is extra creepy whenever Majima decides to unleash his signature devilish smile. It’s a skin that looks great from a shop window, but that looks even better when in the middle of an intense fight thanks to the intense colors and overall design.
