Teruhiko Shigaki
The Calm Before A Chaotic Storm Of Bloodshed
Admittedly, this intro is incredibly short, though it does still do a good job at hyping up the chaos that’s about to ensue. With Majima and Shigaki’s crews facing off against one another, and with everyone involved just itching to land the first attack, the two captains partake in a fearsome staredown. While Shigaki looks calm and composed, Majima can be seen with a huge smile on his face as he revels at the idea of jumping head-first into an all-out brawl.
It’s also nice to get an aerial shot of both gangs at the beginning, showing just how outnumbered Majima’s crew really is, and how he and his team are in for a real fight for survival against this deadly bunch. Again, it’s very short, but still an intro deserving of a spot for how it manages to ramp up the intensity for the oncoming fight.

Masaru Fujita
High-Speed Mobility Meets Raw Strength In This Flashy Matchup
Masaru, with his massive cleaver and deadly swing, is not a chef to be messed with, as is made very clear during the intro sequence between him and Majima. While Masaru comes close to slicing Majima apart numerous times throughout the sequence, the Mad Dog’s high-speed mobility allows him to slide under the chef’s attacks, which provides the perfect set-up for this mid-game boss encounter.

Majima barely avoids Masaru’s lethal slash attacks in this short cinematic, which highlights just how crazy he really is that he’s able to throw himself around with a devilish grin on his face, all while being inches away from losing a limb. It’s not quite as flashy as some other Dynamic Intros, but it’s still a very memorable one nonetheless.

Jason Rich
The Violent Father Of Noah Showcases His Rather Unusual Fighting Style
While most of Majima’s opponents will decide to enter the battle with a deadly weapon of some sort in hand, Jason would rather play the defensive game by using his metal braces. This unique fighting style is shown off in this cinematic where Jason manages to block numerous of Majima’s attacks with his metal braces, before then throwing a few punches of his own after catching the Mad Dog off guard.
It makes for a much different Dynamic Intro than many of the others seen in the series thus far, primarily because it’s more methodical rather than both opponents simply charging at one another to land the first attack. Therefore, this intro focuses more on showing Jason’s combat proficiency rather than being one grand action showcase, and for taking that unique angle, it deserves a lot of credit.

Security Robo
Majima Finds Himself Face To Face With A Big And Menacing Mechanical Beast
This Dynamic Intro is actually quite deceiving; while Majima’s health remains on the screen during the cinematic to let players know a boss is coming up, the enemy doesn’t show themselves until the last few seconds. After stumbling across his crewmates, who are dangling from a steel cage, Majima is confronted by none other than a large hulking security robot who drops down from above to stop him in his tracks.

While no actual fighting takes place during this intro, it’s still one of the most memorable from the game because of how random and goofy it is. Seeing a pirate staring down a menacing robot who is equipped with a deadly sledgehammer sounds like something straight out of fan fiction, so seeing it in action makes for a pretty entertaining and outlandish scene to witness.

Taiga Saejima
Saejima Is Back, And As This Intro Proves, He’s Still Just As Absurdly Strong As He’s Always Been
Though Saejima may have once worked alongside Majima, the two inevitably go head-to-head in the latest game, but not before the ex-family patriarch introduces himself through an action-packed cinematic. As Saejima dodges Majima’s blades and throws him around like a ragdoll, players are reminded just how much of a powerhouse this guy truly is, which only raises the excitement level for the battle that’s about to commence.
It’s also just such a treat for the fans to see these two series icons going at it as part of an epic Dynamic Intro, especially since Saejima especially has felt pretty absent for many of the more recent games. This intro sequence tells everything players need to know about Saejima, and more specifically, his unrivaled raw strength, making him a very tricky opponent for Majima to overcome.

Raymond Law
The Pirate King Of Madlantis Himself Gives Majima A Pretty Rude, Albeit Badass, Welcome
Considering the fight against the king of the pirates, Raymond Law, is the final boss battle in the entire game, it makes sense that the intro accompanying it would be as epic as possible. After hurling a few insults at one another, Raymond uses his spiked ashandarei polearm to try and clobber Majima before the fight even begins, only for the two to exchange blows before Majima gets thrown back by a heavy blow.
A nice added touch near the end of the sequence are the golden coins that can be seen falling around the floor near Majima’s feet after he gets knocked back, feeding into pirates’ obsession with treasure — really, anything that shines and looks valuable. This is also one of the rare intros which shows Majima being on the backfoot, just so players are aware that this final battle is going to be far from a walk in the park.
