Welcome to memories of solitude and loneliness.
Largely, this chapter doesn’t have a ton of large narrative consequences. But nevertheless, this chapter is a good place to build your relationship with Nora or Autumn in the future. And, you may even see some old choices pay off. Here’s a breakdown of every choice in Chapter 22 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
Remember, silence is always an option. In this particular chapter, staying silent doesn’t get you much, but it’s always an option that’s on the table if you want it.
Wishes Come True
At the start of the chapter, fresh off their recollection of their time at the Abyss, Nora, Autumn, and Swann will reminisce about the wishes they made back in 1995.
Autumn is interested in talking, while Nora pushes away the subject, clearly nervous to talk about it. This prompts your first dialogue tree.
Dialogue |
Response |
---|---|
Nora…why’re you being avoidant? |
Nora disapproves. |
Do you think our wishes came true? |
Autumn approves. |
To get the Nora disapproves option, you need to be patient and wait for this dialogue choice to appear. It should only take a few seconds.
Nora eventually suggests that the three of them play a round of pool to get their minds off the past, leading Swann and Autumn over to another room in the bar.
Follow Nora past the bar to the other room to progress the level.
There are several spots all around the bar where you can reminisce if you so desire, though none are required to actually progress the level.
A Round Of Pool
Once you reach the pool table, Nora will continue being avoidant about Kat and the past, while Autumn pushes the issue. At this point, Swann has the option to steer the conversation one way or another.
Dialogue |
Response |
---|---|
Shall we play? |
Nora approves. |
Let’s hear Autumn out. |
Autumn approves. Nora disapproves. |
If you say ‘Shall we play?’ you’ll immediately begin playing pool. But if you hear Autumn out, you may get some extra insight into Autumn’s mental state.
Pushing The Issue
Additionally, Autumn may divulge her regrets at having not made a wish at the Abyss the same night as everyone else. Nora gets defensive at this moment.
As Swann, you can either try to press the issue with Autumn or with Nora, respectively.
Dialogue |
Response |
---|---|
What’s bothering you, Nora? |
Nora disapproves. |
What was your wish, Autumn? |
Autumn approves. |
Depending on your relationship with Autumn, you may also unlock a third option here, where Swann asks Autumn about her wildest dream.
Catching Up
Afterward, Nora will ask Swann what she’s been up to since 1995, specifically asking her if she still likes to make movies.
Depending on your answer in Chapter 13 about what kind of story you’re working on, either psychological horror or cryptids, you’ll get one of two different options in this dialogue tree, along with two standard ones.
Dialogue |
Response |
---|---|
I don’t make movies anymore. |
Everyone reacts neutrally. |
I make cat videos, mostly… |
Everyone reacts neutrally. |
I’m writing a cryptid story… |
Nora approves. |
I’m writing a psychological horror. |
Nora approves. |
From there, you’ll be prompted to join the pool game and progress to the next level.
