These achievements are the most difficult you’ll encounter in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Some perks in the Thievery skill also unlock new ways to steal that open up a treasure trove of groschen and valuables that can let you outfit the ultimate Henry. However, with over a dozen Thievery perks to choose from one at a time, you will want to make sure you focus on the best ones first.
9
Inconspicuous
Pickpocketing in KCD2 is an especially risky method of gaining groschen or access to needed keys, as often your target is moving or surrounded by watchful eyes. The Inconspicuous perk makes it significantly easier to succeed, allowing you to take riskier approaches.
It also allows you to crouch directly in front of your target and steal items from their front pouch without them noticing you, giving you access to their high-value items. If you want to rely on pickpocketing for easy groschen and even key items, make sure you have Inconspicuous first.
If you find it difficult to open hard or very hard locks despite technically being allowed to attempt them, the Tool Master perk will give you the ability to open them easily. Not only does it return broken lockpicks, which are rare during certain quests, but significantly extends the time to pick locks.
This can open up options for looting high-value locations without having to grind your Thievery skill while also giving you additional experience for opening tough locks. It’s better to take Tool Master as soon as it becomes available to make lockpicking much less of a frustrating experience.
The Locksmith perk in the Craftsmanship tree allows you to gain free lockpicks when forging.
7
Silent Fiddler
While lockpicking at night or near sleeping NPCs, you are almost guaranteed to wake them up or alert them to your presence, especially if you break a lockpick. Silent Fiddler is almost an essential perk if you want to steal from homes at night without getting caught.

You’ll have a tough time with these bosses in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
This makes lockpicking practically silent, and breaking lockpicks far quieter, allowing you to open chests at the foot of beds or open doors to occupied rooms without alerting anyone. This perk alone opens the door, literally, to far more options when thieving, especially in Kuttenberg.
6
Nimble Fingers
Especially when you pickpocket at low levels, you will notice how frustratingly slow the wheel moves and how little time you have to grab anything, let alone reveal your options. Nimble Fingers gives you some extra time when looting bags, not only allowing you to succeed, but potentially gain extra goodies.
Every little bit of extra time is essential, as every item you take reduces your overall time, which is especially important at lower levels. EVen if this perk just allows you to succeed in the mini-game, you will gain enough experience to make it easier and easier.
5
Sticky Fingers
Sticky Fingers is a hidden perk that automatically unlocks for you after you steal a total of ten thousand groschen worth of value. This perk gives you a handful of free groschen every time you steal anything while pickpocketing, while also making dead bodies have more money to loot.
This perk is especially useful for looting bodies, as you will be doing so far more often than pickpocketing, and can quickly grow your stash of groschen. You can also use this perk to purposefully miss groschen while pickpocketing, giving you more time to obtain more unique items.
You can view your total stolen value in the Crime Statistics tab.
4
Master Thief
One of, if not the last perk you will obtain in the Thievery skill, Master Thief automatically unlocks anything with a very easy lock. More importantly, this allows you to do so without it being considered a crime, giving you access to otherwise well-guarded locations.

This can also save you time, as very easy locks at Thievery level 30 are incredibly simple to open and can be a chore while looting an entire building. With a well-placed rock, you can even slip past guards standing directly near your target door or chest.
3
Stamping Ground
Stamping Ground is a simple perk that gives you a flat plus three bonus to your Stealth skill while in human settlements. This is where the skill is most handy, as out in the forest or wilderness the penalty for getting caught stealing or sneaking is usually just a fight against a bandit.
The bonus is also not insignificant, as it boosts your ability to stay undetected or spotted while rifling through a merchant’s chests or pockets. If you want a permanent plus three or four to Stealth wherever you go, make sure you get the Leshy II and Wild Man perks from the Survival skill.
2
Back Alley Skirmisher
More useful as a Warfare skill than a Thievery one, the Back Alley Skirmisher perk increases the damage of one-handed weapons without using a shield. This is a crucial perk in making axes, sabers, and maces viable against longswords in terms of effectiveness.
This perk is also especially useful while thieving, as if you get caught by bandits or guards or won’t let you surrender, you will likely be fighting in the dark, wearing little to no armor, and wielding a torch in your other hand.
1
Thief’s Eyes
A fairly unique perk in terms of optimizing your groschen output while stealing, Thief’s Eyes changes the stolen item status of items based on your location. This means that stolen items brought to far-away locations will technically lose their stolen status.
This can make it so that guards who search you will not take items with a gray hand icon, as they won’t know it’s stolen. Also, you can sell these items to merchants without having to receive a significantly lower value due to some inconvenient morals.
