A PlayStation fan who successfully predicted some of the games leaving PS Plus in March 2025 has now revealed which titles are likely to leave the service in April, with the likes of Dave the Diver, Dead Island 2, and more all at risk of being axed from the game catalog. Sony’s lucrative PS Plus subscription service regularly adds new games to its ever-expanding catalog, which is available to Extra and Premium subscribers. However, with new games being added monthly, plenty of titles have also been removed from the service.
Ever since Sony overhauled its PS Plus subscription service in 2022, the company has looked to compete with Xbox Game Pass by regularly adding new titles to its game catalog. While those subscribed to the Standard tier still receive new games each month, Extra and Premium subscribers have access to the PS Plus game catalog, which includes a plethora of different titles for users to play whenever they want. Although there aren’t quite as many day-one releases for PS Plus as there are on Xbox Game Pass, smash hits like Dave the Diver, Animal Well, Stray, and more have all hit the service the same day they were released on the console, making PS Plus a must-have for many PlayStation users.

While there are plenty of smash hits on PS Plus, some great titles also leave the service regularly. Resident Evil 3, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and Mortal Kombat 11 were just some of the games being removed from PS Plus in March 2025, and now it looks like subscribers will be losing even more critically acclaimed releases in April. According to Reddit user kayrakaanonline, who successfully predicted 5 of the 10 games leaving PS Plus in March, Animal Well, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, Dave the Diver, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, DOOM, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Dead Island 2, and Grand Theft Auto 5 are all at risk of being axed from PS Plus Extra and Premium in April.
PS Plus Could Lose These Games in April
- Tales of Kenzera: Zau
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits
- Dave the Diver
- Animal Well
- Dead Island 2
- Grand Theft Auto V
- DOOM
- Wolfenstein: The New Order
While there has yet to be any official confirmation from Sony about which games will leave PS Plus in March 2025, there’s a strong chance that many of the games listed by the user will be removed from the services’ game catalog. Titles such as Animal Well, Dave the Diver, and Tales of Kenzera: Zau were all day-one releases on PS Plus, and, as the user notes, most day-one releases are removed after a year. Other games listed, such as Kena: Bridge of Spritis, DOOM, and Wolfenstein: The New Order, have all been available on PS Plus for almost two years, meaning there’s a very high chance that they will be removed in April.
Grand Theft Auto 5 made its return to PS Plus in November 2024 after being removed in June 2024, but with Rockstar Games’ smash-hit title seemingly being rotated in and out of the PS Plus game catalog every 6 months, there’s a chance that it is once again taken off of the service in the coming months. However, if previous trends are anything to go by, fans can likely expect Grand Theft Auto 5 to stick around until May. Unfortunately, with still a few days left to go until the end of February, fans will likely have to wait a few more weeks to see if these predictions are correct.
