Pokemon TCG Pocket Fans Overwhelmed With How Many Sets Are Being Released

Four expansions in as many months might be a little overkill…

But while there are a few archetypes that see more play than others, some have gone completely under the radar, and according to Limitless TCG, four of the game’s current ten most successful decks are being used by under one percent of players.

Articuno ex Is Seemingly Being Slept On In Pokemon TCG Pocket Right Now

Before we start, it’s worth noting that because these decks see less play than others, it’s easier for them to increase their win percentage, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth using.

Looking at Limitless TCG’s current rankings, it seems like Articuno ex decks are slipping under the radar. It features twice in the top ten for best win percentage, in ninth, paired with Palkia ex, and seventh on its own. These two decks have 52.82 percent and 53.48 percent win rates respectively, but their combined usage totals less than one percent. Palkia and Articuno are used in only 0.35 percent of matches, and Articuno on its own is used in just 0.49 percent.

Surprisingly, Pokemon TCG Pocket’s most successful current deck is only being used in 0.26 percent of matchups and is a hybrid featuring Magnezone and Greninja. This deck, despite seeing minimal play, has a win percentage of 56.73, more than two percent more than its closest competitor.

The fourth deck in the top ten with under one percent usage features Hitmonlee and Rampardos, and it sits in fourth place. It’s being used less than any other deck at 0.25 percent but has a win rate of 54.07 percent. Not bad.
