LoL First Stand 2025 – What is it?
First Stand is the first international competition for League of Legends in the 2025 season and one of the three S-tier tournaments, alongside MSI and Worlds. Featuring the five major regions (China, Korea, Europe, the Americas, and APAC), it will be the first international competition to implement the new Fearless Draft mode. Just like every tournament, the theme for First Stand is “Yours for the Taking.”
According to Riot, First Stand was created to “forge a new path to victory; whether it be through brute force, elite mental, sheer creativity or deft mechanics. This is your chance to find the joy of invention and show the world, and yourself, what you’ve got.”
Where will First Stand take place?
The first edition will be at the LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea, the same venue used to host the LCK matches. Located in the Jongno district, South Korea is known for fostering talents and creating some of the most legendary players in LoL history, including Hall of Fame inductee and five-time world champion Faker.
