In Roblox‘s Fisch, the Volcanic Vents bestiary offers nine lava fish. They share a similar look with Ashfall creatures like Ashcloud Archerfish and Pyro Pike, but unlike them, these fish lurk deep in the ocean. Among them is Inferno Hide, which might be a common rarity fish, but it’s surprisingly tough to catch.

Fisch: How to Get the Volcanic Rod
The Volcanic Rod is the cheapest rod from the Mariana’s Veil update in Fisch, but it’s excellent for grinding currency. Here’s how to get it.
This fish resembles a lava brick and isn’t just needed to complete the bestiary — you’ll also want it for a submarine heat upgrade, so grabbing one is a must. Since the lava pond in the first trench is huge, this guide will show you the best spot and the fastest way to farm Inferno Hide in Fisch.
Where To Find The Inferno Hide In Fisch
Like all native bestiary fish, Inferno Hide can be found by fishing in the lava pond in the middle of the Volcanic Vents in Fisch. While going to the vents is pretty easy and requires a submarine, navigating the lava pond won’t need one. Simply spawn your watercraft and dive into the trench opening below Roslit Volcano to reach the first volcanic layer.
From there, exit your submarine and head south on the map. Once you reach the layer’s edge, turn west to find the lava pond.
Wearing a Glimmerfin Suit Lvl 1 and using an Advanced Glider is recommended for a safe landing and farming lots of them, but you can still make it without these items.
How To Catch The Inferno Hide In Fisch
Inferno Hide can be pretty hard to snag since they don’t have a preferred bait, time, season, or weather. But, there’s a specific spot and bait that can get you plenty in just a few minutes. To get Inferno Hide in Fisch, stand on the first rock in the Volcanic Vents lava pond and use Garbage Bait. This rock is just to the right of the pond near the starting area, so you can glide onto it or take the right trail to get there.
As for the Garbage Bait, you can easily get it from Sunken Chests or Uncommon Bait Crates (which can be bought from Moosewood for 120 in-game money). The good part about Inferno Hide is that you don’t need an exclusive rod like the Magma Rod to catch it from the lava — any decent rod will work. Inferno Hide has a -20 Progress Speed, and when it bites, you’ll see a red exclamation mark pop up. The aforementioned lava pond spot has plenty of them, so just keep fishing with Garbage Bait — you might need a few tries, but you’ll get them soon enough.
