While it is a very effective tool, like all weapons, using it without knowledge of how it works might not lead to the best results. This guide will cover everything you’ll need to know about the weapon. From where as well as how to acquire the weapon and, more importantly, how to use it to maximize its effectiveness.
What Is The GP-31 Ultimatum?
The GP-31 Ultimatum is a single-shot grenade launcher that is capable of dealing massive damage. It is categorized as a Special weapon and, as such, will replace your secondary weapon slot. Being a powerful weapon does have a major drawback, being that you will only have a single reload after you fire the first shot.
How To Get The GP-31 Ultimatum
To acquire the GP-31 Ultimatum, simply open up the Acquisition Center menu whilst you are on board your ship using the designated button. Scroll down until you find the Servants Of Freedom Warbond and purchase it for 1000 Super Credits. The GP-31 Ultimatum will be located on the second page of the Warbond and will require you to amass a total of 135 Medals to unlock the page and purchase the weapon.
How To Use The GP-31 Ultimatum
To guarantee a hit on an enemy, get into the effective range of your desired target and aim high to allow the projectile to travel its maximum distance. The most effective way to use it is as an anti-tank and has the capability of destroying them in one or two shots.
While the GP-31 Ultimatum can be used to clear an area of enemies, it is important to note that this should only be done if you have no other means of dealing with them.
Speaking of two shots, that is all you’ll get when using the GP-31 Ultimatum, which will leave you dry if you use it incorrectly. To avoid this from happening, you or your comrades should consider carrying a B-1 Supply Pack. This will allow you to be a little less conservative with your shots, though it’s advised that you still pick your targets carefully.
