How To Craft

To get started, you’ll need a Workbench. You can purchase this at Sgt. Lakes Outpost or find one in containers scattered across the map. Once obtained, place the Workbench inside your cabin or tent, interact with it, and combine two or more items to craft new gear.

However, simply owning a Workbench isn’t enough — you’ll need to discover recipes to craft specific items. This is where the Crafting Book comes into play. This book is available for 60 mk at the orange vending machine labeled Kyrre’s Equipment at Sgt. Lakes Outpost, which you can reach via boat. Once you acquire the book, you’ll be able to see all recipes you can craft.

What Can You Craft?

You can craft furniture, gates, weapons, seeds, and upgraded equipment — among many other similar items. A few items require blueprints, which are crafted from four research documents found in locked vaults inside underground bunkers. These vaults require access cards, dropped by NPC soldiers found in the bunkers at Jumo Island and Krokon Island.
