One of the most enjoyable mechanics in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is the island visitors. When you restore cabins on Friendship Island and other locations using Strawberry Crates, certain characters can become possible visitors. However, for them to move in, you need to decorate it according to their preferences.

Did you know that Hello Kitty’s family is among the visitors who can settle into these cabins? If you make her sister, mother, and father permanent residents, you will unlock the Family Vacation quest! In this guide, we’ll go over the requirements and how to complete it.

Which Quests Should You Complete Before The Family Vacation?

The Family Vacation quest is part of the Friendship Quests in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. But before you can accept it, you must complete several prerequisite quests. Below is a table listing the required quests in order:

However, even after completing these quests, you won’t unlock the Family Vacation quest immediately. In addition to this, specific visitors must arrive at the Visitor Cabins, and they must have a five-star rating. These visitors are all Hello Kitty’s family members, which makes sense given the quest’s theme. The required visitors are:

• Mimmy

To bring these visitors to your island, you must first meet the necessary conditions to make them possible visitors. However, just because they are listed as possible visitors doesn’t mean they will immediately settle into a Visitor Cabin.

To make them island visitors, you’ll need to fulfill each visitor’s Visitor Cabin Requirements. Once these conditions are met, they will move into a Visitor Cabin.

Mimmy’s Visitor Cabin Requirements

Mimmy is Hello Kitty’s twin sister, which is easy to recognize from her appearance. There are no specific requirements to make Mimmy an island visitor. However, there are three conditions you must meet for her to become an island visitor:

• There must be an available Visitor Cabin near Hello Kitty in Seaside Resort.
• The Visitor Cabin must contain five Hello Kitty-themed furniture items.
• The Visitor Cabin must have two furniture items from the Bakery category.

Once these conditions are met, Mimmy will move into an appropriate Visitor Cabin as an island visitor.

To make Mary White and George White island visitors, you must first ensure that Mimmy is a permanent visitor.

Mary White’s Visitor Cabin Requirements

Mary White is Hello Kitty’s mother and one of the most cherished members of her large family. To make her an island visitor, you must first reach Friendship Level 20 with Hello Kitty. Once this requirement is met, you’ll need to complete four more conditions to make her an island visitor:

• There must be an available Visitor Cabin near Hello Kitty in Seaside Resort.
• The Visitor Cabin must contain three Hello Kitty-themed furniture items.
• The Visitor Cabin must have an Oven.
• Mimmy must already be a permanent visitor in a Visitor Cabin.

Once all these conditions are met, Mary White will become an island visitor.

George White’s Visitor Cabin Requirements

George White is Hello Kitty’s father. To make him a possible visitor, you must first reach Friendship Level 20 with Hello Kitty. Once this requirement is met, you’ll need to fulfill five conditions to make him an island visitor:

• There must be an available Visitor Cabin near Hello Kitty in Seaside Resort.
• The Visitor Cabin must contain five Antique-category furniture items.
• The Visitor Cabin must contain one Book-category furniture item.
• The Visitor Cabin must contain one Comic-category furniture item.
• Mimmy must already be a permanent visitor in a Visitor Cabin.

Once all these conditions are met, George White will become a permanent visitor.

How to Make Hello Kitty’s Family Permanent Residents

Even after Mimmy, George White, and Mary White become island visitors and settle into their Visitor Cabins, you still won’t be able to start the Family Vacation quest. The final requirement is to ensure that all three characters reach five-star permanent resident status.

To achieve this, you must complete all of their daily requests. Once they reach five stars, you will finally be able to unlock the Family Vacation quest.

These characters alternate between staying in their Visitor Cabins and going on trips. Make sure you don’t miss their daily requests when they are on the island.

After completing all five of Mimmy’s daily requests, talk to her and tell her you want her to stay on Friendship Island forever. Once this is done, George White and Mary White will also officially become island residents in their Visitor Cabins.

How To Complete The Family Vacation Quest

After making Mimmy, George White, and Mary White five-star residents, there will be no obstacles left to unlock the Family Vacation quest. First, go to Hello Kitty’s mother, Mary White, and talk to her. She will mention wanting to spend a day with the rest of her family, so you’ll need to talk to her two daughters.

Start by speaking with Mimmy, who will agree without hesitation. Then, your objective will update to talking to Hello Kitty. Head over to Hello Kitty’s shop, who will express concern about leaving her orders undone. To help her, you need to bake and gift her five of each of the following treats from her shop’s oven:

After gifting all the treats, Hello Kitty will head to the beach to meet her family and ask you to join them. Leave her shop and go straight south to the beach. After a conversation, you’ll need to take a photo with Hello Kitty and her family. Once the photo is taken, talk to Hello Kitty again.

Next, the family will move to another location—Pompompurin’s Dessert Boat in Gemstone Mountain. Fast travel to the Oasis mailbox in Gemstone Mountain and wait for everyone to arrive. Once they do, talk to Hello Kitty again and take another photo when prompted.

For the final stop, the family will want to visit the Seaside Resort’s northeastern dock. Fast travel to the Resort Gate, then head northwest of Chococat’s crafting bench to reach the dock. Here, talk to Hello Kitty one last time and take a final photo. After capturing the last picture, speak to Hello Kitty, and the Family Vacation quest will be complete!
