T1 legend Bae “Bang” Jun-sik has signed once again with T1 to join their streamer lineup, joining the legendary organisation that brought him two world championships.

Bang rejoins T1 as a streamer
Bang officially announced from professional play at the end of 2021, putting an end to his 9-year competitive career. In 2022, he held a retirement ceremony for both him and former T1 support player Wolf, who’s also part of the T1’s streamer lineup.
This is not the first time Bang joins T1 as a streamer. Shortly after his last competitive stint on Afreeca Freecs, Bang joined T1 as a streamer in early 2022 with his contract lasting until May 2023. After more than a year and a half, and a marriage in between with LCK translator Jeesun, Bang will be part of the T1 family again.
According to T1’s official website, T1 currently has eight content creators under their banner. Aside from Wolf and Bang, T1 also counts on Boxer, Untara, Headory, Flame, Bunny, GBM, and Dohyeon. In the past, T1 also signed with Tyler 1, one of the most controversial yet popular personalities in the League of Legends space.
Bang’s legacy as a player
Bang debuted his League of Legends career in NaJin Sword in 2012 and played for Xenics Blast in 2013 before joining T1 at the end of the year. Bang ended up playing for the Korean organization until 2018, winning four LCK championships, two MSI championships, and two World Championships, making him one of the most decorated players in League history. His
After his tenure in T1, Bang accepted an offer overseas to play for North American teams 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses. Unfortunately, his results weren’t the greatest which led him to return to the LCK on Afreeca Freecs but the results didn’t end up being much better, finishing only 9th in Spring. Bang was later moved to sub for the summer split, before retiring at the end of season.
